At first you are overwhelmed by a lot of information

For me, it brought new friends, a better understanding of crypto and Web3 in general. It also shows, that without technical skills, crypto can be earned.

At base, a social network, where people, post, comment, and share ideas. It developed into a building platform for social network apps, like blogging, video, short messages. Further, it has a lot of applications, like games, being a transaction free blockchain, highly scalable.

The onboarding might be not the most user-friendly.

I think Hive is a 9.5 out of 10 social media platform. I would like every user to experience it. If you use Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, you can easily adapt here.

Hive is the social media of the future, I love spending time here every day and socializing with people, and you can earn cryptocurrency for it.

I don't think there's anything bad about it, but it can take a while to make friends with people like in real life.

Here since day 1. This platform lets you learn, socialize, play, earn, and more. Highly recommended!

Excellent. There are a few annoyances, but that's called being in an imperfect world. I use the PeakD front-end for the Hive blockchain and navigate with ease through all my creating, scheduling, and placing my rewards where they can grow with ease ... every little piece of effort is honored and multiplied! I am actively introducing Hive to others as well!

Hive provides a place to truly stretch out on my FULL creativity, and gave me the confidence to move my writing into the world on a larger scale -- writing, music, visual art, short film, etc -- and to be able to live ALL AROUND on those things because I learned about the crypto world BECAUSE I was on Hive. Now I am exploring the world of passive income and DeFi through Hive Power and HBD savings (TWENTY PERCENT INTEREST!!!!), and able to turn small rewards into long-term investments.

Hive is based on community, and has some "neighborhoods" that have people in them who behave like big rich brats because back in the day, when Hive was down in price, they had a ton of clout and used it to reward their favorites and contain those who are not. It frustrates some of them to see people in the Global South getting their lives NOW with the increase in the price of Hive, living on their rewards NOW while that still can't be done in USD and Euro terms in Hive. However, the community of Hive is big enough and robust enough that one can avoid the foolishness.

It is a great place, Hive has helped out in real life. That alone gives Hive my outmost loyalty, and respect. Things are not perfect, but what is? This is a Blockchain of people. There is a lot being figured out, and I have trust those who are behind development will eventually have something that is close to perfect.

Many front end options to access the Chain. There is even a cannabis front end, where you earn the Hive Engine Token called Weed! That alone sets Hive apart from the rest. But that is just a very small part of the Hive Ecosystem, there are many great games, and even more being built! Great content gets recognized, and if you try, you will succeed.

Spammers. With Hive being worth the most than any of the other platforms tokens, comes people who want to scam. Luckily there is a down vote button that takes care of that. Also there is a bit of a learning curve starting out, but those who like a challenge will appreciate that aspect, like myself.

I like Hive because of the ease of use of the peakd.com frontend, the free and super fast (3sec.) transactions, the interactive and engaged community, the (mostly) respectful communication, the variety of content, and last not least the possibility to earn money while blogging and curating ("liking") other's content.
Plus it is censorship-free. Nobody can (shadow)ban you on Hive!

Hard to find any significant cons;
The chat function (of peakd) is sometimes lagging or down, but Hive is not primarily a chat tool anyhow

It's been very positive, my only regret is that I stopped using it for 1 year, as work got very busy and I stopped posting. That slowed my progress down a bit, but when I came back, my old blockchain friends remembered me and I made a lot more since.

If you have not checked out Hive yet, get on it, you won't regret it.

I have met some great friends from every continent on Hive talking sport, music, investments, food and everything you can imagine in between. So long as you are willing to take the time to engage with other users on the platform and read their posts and interact with them, you will build up a group of friends with common interests.

It is one of the only places on line, where I almost never come across trolls or people being disrespectful to each other and you can earn Hive and HBD just by posting about things that interest you. In future years people will look back on the early adapters as very lucky indeed and I believe it is still very early in Web 3.0

It can be a little tough starting out, but if you are engaging and create good and original well thought out content, you will build up a following and can do very well on the platform.

I'm a very new people to Blockchain. Hive is my first one , and very easy for me to get in and use it.

Overall I'm pretty satisfied with Hive blockchain.

- Very easy to remember account/address
- Easy manage the access to different projects with one keychain

- now the pairs that Hive can be traded are not as many as other crypto coins.
- Exchange loses from local currency to Hive exchange.

Excellent with room for much community and app growth. I can say the LeoFinance group alone is like nothing out there.

From the negative reviews listed here from the past, I can say, "Hive is the only alternative to FB, Twit, and YouTube that is totally integrated."
You can use the Engage app to track and respond to all of your comments, mentions, feed, and communities across the entire chain.

None for what I use it for...well sometimes uploading videos on 3Speak is glitchy but if you post to DTube 1st and it automatically uploads to 3Speak.

The dapps (decentralized apps) and the community in general are some of the best I've ever seen, crypto or otherwise.

And there are so many things to chose from in the Hive ecosystem! Blogging & vlogging dapps, games, music & streaming services, financial communities - there's something for everyone!

I love that I am the one in control of my account & can't be deplatformed. If one dapp decided to mute/boot me for some reason, I still have all my followers, posts, comments, etc and can just find another dapp to use.

The onboarding process needs to be simplified. There should also be a better way of getting important notifications about the community out there.

I like HIVE, even though I only been on it for less than 5 months.
I learned a lot and I am still learning. I like connecting with people from all over the world that are like minded.
Through engaging you can grow and help HIVE GROW.

So far everything I like, after reading up on it and understanding how it works.

I have been using the platform for more than a year now and it has generated a good income that has helped me to overcome the severe crisis that has hit my country, Venezuela.

*It has many communities to grow.

*There is a lot of educational content.

*It's linked to Splinterlands and Rising Stars, great games to produce some more. And there are communities for each of those games where you can publish and get rewarded for it.

I see room for improvement in the security system in terms of passwords.

Sometimes there is some fighting between whales that is detrimental to content creators.

Hive is a blockchain with fast free transactions (3 seconds), where you are the owner of your account which means that no one can censor you, it has a group of world-renowned applications that provide real solutions to real problems, decentralized video storage with 3speak, NFT games with a healthy economy, an engaged community. Etc.

In Hive everyone owns their own account, free of censorship, free transactions in 3 seconds, a large number of NFT applications and games, conscious community.

I consider the market price of Hive to be undervalued. We should put more emphasis on marketing.

Hive is definitely a place to be anytime because a day without hive means a day without reward and it us definitely a live changer with the positive and progressive impact it has to change things positively which I appreciate and also to be among of the awesome platform.

I love hive with the impact it has distributed in changing lives positively with h the opportunities it offers.

When one is not supportive in what is good it's baffles me but with the impact of hive the contribution and support from users is really awesome and incredible.

Best place to be, feels like a family with all the communities that are built on Hive and offers anyone a place to grow.

Need more exposure and presence on centralized and decentralized exchanges for HIVE and HBD cryptocurrencies.

My experience was pretty cool. I've been on Hive for about four or five months. There are such good communities, good games, and it's really nice to blog about everything, especially as we get rewarded for it!

Personally, I do not see many cons. Maybe the Hivewatchers approach with new users.

The people here the community and support are phenomenal, The wide variety of content available on the platform is pretty amazing. Joining this platform will eventually be one of the best decisions you will make.

Everything from posts to comments you leave back are rewardable on HIVE and the best part is that you are in full control of your wallet and the content you put up. The transactions on the platform are super fast.

It’ll take you just about a week to familiarise yourself with platform and understand the overall workings.

Makes you feel independent once you start doing well here making quality content.

1) Managing the people you’ve onboarded onto the platform needs to be improved

2) BeeChat not having support for the Hive signer login yet is another issue, I till date haven’t been able to chat with the people i've met on this platform apart from Discord

Hive provides a strong base for many great web3 projects. Many more keep popping up as well from games like Splinterlands to blogging sites like Peaked. There is something for everyone.

Hive is a proof of stake platform, meaning it’s cheap, fast, and secure to use.
There is a strong passionate community behind it.
New things are being developed on the platform all the time.

You need a little bit of technical know-how to fully understand how to use it.
