The only blockchain and ecosystem I have full faith in when it comes to my time and money. With Hive there are no risks that some CEO will terminate the project on a whim; Hive is highly stable and can be used, built on and invested in with confidence.

Hive is the only DPoS fully-decentralized blockchain in the world. Its fee-less with 3 sec blocks. The system is fully-transparent and designed for ease of access. Everything is modular as far as blockchain tech can be and due to that can fit any application without undue resource allocation.

Decentralization in terms of ecosystem and contributor sync isn't easy but is worth it.

The platform is what you make of it, with the non presence of algorithmic topic pushing on your feed you have the control to ensure you are not fed anything that is just there for your attention based on a computer making the choice for you.
While the topic regurgitation occurs because the social platform is community consensus eventually posters that are posing for a quick buck tend to fade in distant history. Freeing your feed.

I recommend you try the platform and take it as a learning experience as opposed to looking at it as aa get rich quick scheme like most of the people leaving the platform pushing nonsensical ideas about anything under the sun.

There are tons of things to do. The social aspect of Facebook and all mainstream platforms without the algorithmic mind washing found on centralized social media platforms.

The need to bandwagon on the newest trend setting topic being regurgitated by the masses that follow the whales to try to cash in on any topics even if they do not have the knowledge to know what they are talking about.

Not for the faint hearted when it comes to learning the intricacies and platform norms in what you can and can't do when posting.

Finding a job in a full-time company is no longer a problem for me, I can do my work from home (because I consider Hive a company that gives me work).

Talking about Hive is talking about personal motivation and growth. When they told me about a social network that rewarded me for publishing, voting and commenting, I couldn't believe it. I had to try it to believe it, it turned out much more than that, I have friends around the world without leaving my house. I have money with which I can support my family and buy my things. I recreate my mind by publishing, I express myself without fear of censorship.

I think that Hive has nothing against it and if there was any problem, it would be fixed with some consensus. The developers are always aware of the correct use and to improve it for the benefit of all.

I'm finding it quite easy to navigate and am finding communities very open to my blogs. I feel encouraged to keep writing by the feedback fellow hivers give me. I also like that I'm actually earning money just by sharing the dream life I'm living.

I like that I can read blogs on any topic and interact with the authors of the blogs.
I love that I can share my life, my words and my photos with the communities and get feedback.

I have never been on anything other than Facebook before so there are no cons for me at this stage.

Good at times, very bad at others, when they turn on you it turns into a nightmare even wanting to log in there. No site should make you feel like dreading logging in, it does, they do.

A lot of add-ons like games, most people got free tokens when it was forked from Steemit, some good people on there and some bad.

If 1 whale does not like you or what you post, forget earning anything, and when you annoy 1 of them they will talk on discord and drive you from the platform which makes investing a risk not a pleasure.

My experience.
As for my experience in general, I feel that since I joined this platform, my life has changed a lot. Now I take the hive as a real job, since my day to day is focused on creating content,
taking pictures, looking for contests, but not only in terms of monetization, it is simply that I feel very useful,
that I have found the ideal place, where I do what I like the most in life, which is writing,
and many other activities such as communicating with people from all over the planet, even with a translator.
I only wish that the hive continues to grow.

I consider that I have been fortunate to belong to Hive,
at a time when I was culminating my work as a professor at the University.

I like it, because it is decentralized, and I have freedom to publish, it is reliable and allows me to monetize my content.
I learn every day to manage and exchange cryptocurrencies.
I love hive because I have solved many economic situations and made new friends.

I have learned and continue to learn more and more. I have published in hive niches , according to my preferences,
I have participated in contests and initiatives programmed by the communities and some users.

I have found it difficult to manage the translator and proofreading of my content, as my native language is Spanish.

Hive is the best thing to happen to me in life. I earn a lot of money just spending my time here, other social networks are just fun but here in Hive its fun and money.

Real money for writing, you can spend your time with a great community, win votes, join contests, it's very fun.

None. This social media doesn't have any cons, it's perfect.

Very disappointing.

Nothing new as it's just a poor-quality UI copy of Steemit. User experience is very negative compared to blurt or Steemit.

No freedom of speech.
Whales decide what others should do or else users will get downvotes.
Bad attitudes.

I have been using the platform for a little more than 1 year and 4 months and the truth is incredible what it has allowed me to do within it, I have played investing in NFTs and its value has not been lost, when in other games outside this chain have fallen in price multiple times.

Hive has free transactions of 3 seconds or less and has an ecosystem with many Dapps and second layer tokens with which you can make DEFi or also invest in games, it's amazing.

So far I haven't found any cons, maybe the powerdown time or the 13 weeks unstake represents something negative for many but I know that will be fixed soon with the new hard fork.

Overall, a really positive experience - take the time to invest into the space and you will love it.

The HIVE space creates genuine communities, linking people through engagement in a variety of topics from writing fiction, to discussing coffee, or the latest niche film. In going from place to place in the network, I find myself playing games to earn crypto and then going back into the blogging spaces to learn about it.

Being on HIVE has made me smarter, and by engaging with diverse views around the world - it is far more authentic than any local mess of a group I might happen to stumble upon in traditional social media.

Of course, the biggest pro is the ability to earn payments based on your engagement. That's the reason to join, but after a while, that becomes secondary to the habit of HIVE becoming part of your every day routine.

I am constantly surprised ow HIVE is changing lives - while my earnings are not life-changing, a lot of people in developing nations are able to earn their daily wage from making a post. This inclusivity seems to check every single ambition from governments and big organisations - but it took the power of a brilliant crypto network to actually implement real change in the world.

When you first log into a HIVE blogging platform, it can be overwhelming. There are a million things to learn - from which group to post in, what tags to use, how to access your crypto earnings, the structure of the curation system etc. It can take a fair amount of time and perseverance to get your head around it. For ease now, I'd give it a 5 - but on first joining, it would have been somewhere between a 2 and a 3.

However, there are a lot of articles and videos up to help though, and I found it probably took me a few weeks to get to a point where I felt really confident knowing what I was doing.

Hive has been completely overlooked as a technology and as a community. We already have what most chains are trying to achieve. There are many apps in development and we can already show extremely successful ones (Splinterlands as an example).

Hive has what most blockchains are lacking: feeless transactions, 3 sec transaction time, a big community, strong development and the list just goes on.

There isn't a single entity pushing development; but that's decentralization and actually even a good attribute.

Hive is one of the three blockchains which has forked from Steem and shares many functionality with its peers.

All Hive blog posts are stored on a public ledger and can't be deleted. This is something to consider when using Hive.

Hive postings are monetised based on the upvotes received. However can be hard for new users to get enough upvotes to pass the 2ç minimum payout threshold.

The blockchain supports user defined token which can be used by communities to add additional incentives and communities for many interests have been created.

I have been posting on Hive every day for two years, mainly in the Actifit community. There is a community for everyone! Just take a look and you won't go anywhere else.

Hive was my first venture into crypto and blogging in general so it was a bit daunting at first but I soon realized how marvelous it is to meet new like-minded people.

My time with Hive started well - my articles were well received, well supported and because of this, I promoted Hive to my followers on other platforms who subsequently migrated to Hive.

As with many others, this changed in an instant. One of my posts received a big downvote which wiped out all of my rewards. I hoped it was a one-off and having heard that people who complain about downvotes get even more downvotes, I kept quiet.

My next post also got downvoted so I asked why and received no response. As expected, my next (and final) post was downvoted into oblivion.

This is a platform filled with disgusting, hate fuelled idiots. As other reviewers have said, it's toxic.

This shouldn't have come as a surprise given that Hive was created through anger and hate following their nemesis (Justin Sun) buying a large stake in Steemit.

If you decide to ignore this advice and register anyway, enjoy it whilst you can and avoid forming any emotional ties.

All of the anger and hatred is contained within Hive which allows Blurt and Steemit to foster a more positive environment.

It's incredible how angry and hate-filled Hive users are.

Even users who claim to have Hive's interests at heart DOWNVOTE THEIR OWN FRIENDS if they think that their posts are earning too much.

When "friends" downvote you for saying that you're taking a break (which could easily have been due to poor mental health), it provides the perfect example for what they're capable of when they're not your friends.

Great as a blogging and social media platform backed by a strong technology that can power various types of dApps.

- like with all blockchains, some people might find it difficult to grab the concept and some technical aspects such as private/public keys

Actually there is no disadvantage of Hive project as it is developed by talented people + enriched by dedicated community.

The value of the token is too unstable, although this is still a characteristic of cryptocurrencies.
Not all exchanges accept the HIVE at the moment of selling it and this generates to transfer it to another cryptocurrency and lose a lot in commissions.
There is a lack of curators with more voting power, it is usual to see a post with many votes and little reward and another post with few votes and a very high reward.

The most great social blockchain, has managed to save my life in many ways, but most importantly: emotionally. I think I would have ended up in insanity if it had not come into my life.
