I really enjoy hanging out on Hive and with the community. Earning some crypto blogging and playing games.

lots of community, games, and things to do. I have been here since before the fork. The community is the best part.

Didn't hear about it sooner, while I have been here a long time, a few months earlier I would have been around during the creation.

If you are a blogger, you will be 100% satisfied. If you just want to yank some cryptocurrency for yourself by cheating or publishing plagiarism, it will only work in the very short term, and then you'll be whining elsewhere on the web that Hive is so bad. ;)

The biggest advantage is the independence of your blog from the domain operator, provider, any person who may disappear, die, go bankrupt, or get bored with running a business. Your texts are saved on the blockchain. Second pro: many language communities - I write in Polish. The third issue is an interesting opportunity to invest intellectual capital and a good opportunity to learn cryptocurrency mechanisms.

Hive has no particular cons. It's completely different from centralized social media, so it can be a bit confusing at first, but the community is very helpful for new users.

It was lackluster due to liberal bias being practice on the most extreme on chain levels. There is also very little tolerance for questioning the covid-19 narrative. If you do not virtue signal to the "whales' you will not be welcomed.

No shadow banning or algorithmic censorship. There is a wide variety of content, if you can find it on the feeds that are heavily soft censored by the large account stake holders.

Financial censorship is out of control, the largest share holders have a very present left wing bias and will zero your posts, preventing you from sharing your content with people who do not have an account.

My experience has been amazing! I love the idea that I'm being rewarded for the same stuff other people do for free (and I do it without the corporate, woke nonsense). It's the place for me... and I'm trying to get everyone I know on-board.

So many pros: incentivized engagement by rewarding content creators and curators, the amazing second layer smart contract sidechain called Hive Engine, the total control I have of my content and wallet-- my keys, my crypto-- as well as the variety of platforms for blogging, video, audio, games and more! And the community is always looking to make itself better.

It's the next generation of blogging and social media. Period.

The user base is still pretty small... and it can get a bit heated under the collar with the politics of everything. But that illustrates how tightly-knit the community is.

The learning curve is a bit high, and onboarding is still a tedious process. It's early days though, so we should smooth these things out in time.

A great decentralized blockchain with a great community! So many things to explore like games, blogging, video hosting etc.

Fast, free, truly decentralized, great community and you earn some free $ for blogging about your hobbies! Some great games too like Splinterlands!

It's a bit hard to make a name for yourself at first if you you are a total newbie.

I would encourage everyone to join the Hive today. Earn while you play. Join any of the communities to make new friends.

The Hive was my introduction to the blockchain. I admit I was overwhelmed at first. But there were lots of helpful people who posted great information that got me going. Now there are even more helpful people and I keep learning more and more. Where else could I earn by just posting, commenting, playing games, and many other activities? Great communities on the Hive.

Takes a little getting used to how to navigate. Once you have that down there are no cons.

Overall I like the performance of this platform, but to be honest it is hard for a newcomer to make his place to get some good upvotes.

Great place to enhance your writing, photography, gaming, and other skills.

Sometimes you work hard but you can't get the upvote.

In one word, I’ll say, “Awesome!” To go further, since I joined the platform, I’ve become more consistent with practicing my craft which is painting. I have also come to know amazing people and form connections with them. I’ve recommended hive to a number of my friends and they have no complaints about using Hive, which goes to show what a cool blockchain it is.

I like how easy it is to use, especially on mobile with 3rd party apps like Ecency. It’s a great way for me as an artist to improve my craft, share my knowledge while also earning by the side to sustain myself.
The community on Hive is also amazing, and very welcoming. Newcomers feel welcome on the platform and are encouraged to grow through different programs and initiatives on the platform.

You also get to learn a lot from other people, it’s a great place to learn and travel the world from the comfort of your screen.

I don’t have much to say, I haven’t encountered any I-dudes so far.

I used to use it very often, unfortunately my account was destroyed by downvoting. I do not recommend it unless you are a conformist or you publish content without commenting on topics in which you can approach someone.

Sometimes, however, you can only gain something if you are a mainstream writer or have whale arrangements. At least until you hit it, skip a lot of Hive Power.

Downvotes are main source of corruption here. By them strong accounts can remove any rewards you have gained from hundreds of users just because they didn't like you.
