Microsoft Teams provides a platform to connect with anyone from anywhere. It has a lot of features and unique functionalities.

- It has a user-friendly user interface that is very easy to set up and install.
- Students can share assignments with teachers or moderators directly through Microsoft Teams.
- The qualities of video and audio are very clear.

- It is a bit difficult to use it initially because of the complex layout.

It's a good product, we use it periodically with outside vendors since it seems to be the most common app. Not the best, but certainly not the worst.

Easy to use, easy to set up a meeting, backgrounds aren't too bad to use either. Makes collaborating a bit more easier.

While it works well, it tends to freeze up more than Google Meet or Zoom.

Again, it kept my department up to date and in touch for over a year now. I do not know how we could do what we did without it.

We are able to share files, conduct department meetings and make presentation to other departments.

It works best with on a computer or table / iPad but lags a little on phones.

This is a good team communication app, sharing files and communicating with team in one app is really good.

Easy and free to setup. Upto 250 members in a single call is really good.
I setup my classes on teams. It works from and device which is great.

Need a lot of background resources, hopefully Microsoft fixes that soon.

This has improved our team's communication significantly! With Teams, I don't feel that distant from my team even in this virtual setting!

I use the Microsoft Teams app on a daily basis at work. It's great if you just need to send a quick reminder or question to a co-worker because you don't have to stop what you are doing to make a phone call. This app is perfect for one on one meetings because you can easily share your screen to the other person or vice versa. Due to Covid-19 closures, I actually did the majority of my position training via Teams and it was great! Very easy to navigate and screen sharing has clear image. You can also speak through the Teams app if you have a headset available.

Clear picture/visibility. Ease of screen sharing. Easy to navigate. Great for sending a quick message. Great for virtual meetings.

I have not come across any issues with Teams. I use this app daily with work.

During the pandemic, there has been an increased need to coordinate a group of users working at different times and in different locations. This product has helped us to improve communication and collaboration during this critical time.

This program has simplified collaboration for my team by combining the features of several programs that we used previously. It also seamlessly integrates existing software that we had been using previously such as SharePoint. I like the way team members can work together on a collaborative document while using video chat or instant messaging.

At times it can be difficult to keep up with the high volume of new messages and notifications when a member of many teams and channels.

Teams can be a great solution, particularly for an organization that often interfaces with people who don't regularly video chat and will appreciate the browser option (vs other platforms that require a software download).

It's very helpful that Teams will allow folks to join from a web browser. This makes it much easier for anyone to access meetings.

Depending on how the meeting is set up, it can be difficult to see everyone on the call.

Microsoft Teams is a substantial solution and a major upgrade from Lync. They continue to add new and cool features. Excited to see where it goes.

Great product, it is so capable, the ability to build rooms and have teams collaborate is great. IM to anyone is also a great tool.

We need to determine a way to manage the usage of documents in the rooms. Our centralized document manage system is the repository for all documents, we can't control what happens with documents in Teams.

A very positive development from Microsoft and a much better UX compared to Skype. Dev team should pat themselves on the back but also continue to take feedback via forums and make a world class product. :)

Fantastic integration with existing Office apps. Good customization options with dark and light modes. Notifications can be tailored in more options than I thought possible
Calls seem to use less data than Skype/Zoom, so crisp audio.

Meeting reminders sometimes disappear or alert very late into the scheduled time.
Cannot see all people in video at same time.
Team member status updates with a lag, so not always accurate.

Very good for projects, not as good for daily operational communication. With a few tweaks, teams would become exponentially more powerful. Teams should have templates based upon what the team is trying to accomplish. (Problems, Projects, Proposals, etc.)

I like the ability to navigate multiple teams and workflows. Teams makes it easy to communicate and store information in a centralized repository that is content/project-specific.

The interface becomes very busy if you are managing more than 3 teams. You can become overwhelmed if multiple people or groups begin trying to communicate multiple workstreams at the same time. It may be challenging to keep up with the chats, posts and your normal communication channels.

Overall my experience with teams has been amazing! I would recommend this app to all because it will boost your team's productivity.

I like that you are able to screen share and have meetings with more than one person in the free version.

I've been using on my company for many years and I've seen frequent UI and performance improvements from Microsoft over the years. The UI is simple, screen sharing perfect, recordings can be done and it connects with office 365 suite and tools.

Would be good to have "break out rooms" or similar to make conferences somehow dynamic like zoom does. Also, inviting people outside your org could be tricky since a noob user would need to download the app (you can manage to join from browser but first option is to download).

It is a great calling and organizing tool. A must for large technology clients with customer engagement.

Easy navigation across the tool. Features to conduct large online meeting with a larger audience. Business users shall like the integration with email like outlook here. Provides opportunity to customize one Digital Avatar in profile as well. Calendar integration is super efficient. Free to use as a part of enterprise package.

Not Integrated with other email boxes like GMail etc. Tech glitches during the call more often as compared to other calling software. Data buffering speed need to be high for video compression.

My overall experience using Microsoft Teams for 4+ years has been great. Over the years the software has been upgraded to perform better across all functionality and allow for more users and better interface in video conferencing and workflow productivity.

Microsoft Teams is an all around great product and suite of software with few necessary improvements.

I am using MS Teams for a couple of years already when working for several clients (big corporations mainly). Over time it surprisingly gets better and better, last things I noticed is an automatic attendance schedule that is available after a call and a built-in call recording tool.

Lot's of functions beyond just chat and calls:
File sharing, groups, notes via OneNote. Very useful for corporate users/

Main problem that I have with Teams is some instability when working via Citrix Desktop. Sometimes calls are not available because Citrix doesn't see my headset. So this is not entirely MS Teams problem, but is still an issue since many corporations provide remote desktop functionality via Citrix software which doesn't work perfectly with MS Teams.
