Great Sales Product
Date: Apr 19 2022SummaryThere has been a huge benefit to our organizations ability to track our leads and track out customer engagement. We have increased our sales and engagement by at least 10%.
PositiveEfficiency with connecting leads, contacts, and communication. Ability to follow the lead through the pipeline.
NegativeAdding new accounts seems a little tricky. We have struggled to find time to engage with support in Australia.

Nutshell CRM
Date: Apr 27 2022SummaryRobust, very intuitive user interface. Good price. Easy to train new users on. Wish it had more integrations but Zapier mostly gets the job done.
PositiveVery user-friendly and quick/easy to get new users up to speed on. Pricing is fair and slightly lower than competitors. Email marketing and forms add ons are most cost effective (and better integrated) than o=using third party alternatives.
NegativeNot as many integrations as other services. But workarounds through Zapier for most.

PositiveNutshell is right-sized for fast-paced startups. Has the perfect mix of features and customizability without being over-burdensome to manage. Nutshell gives our sales team the tools they need to be successful.
NegativeAs with most CRMs takes a couple of days to get into a good workflow, and optimize all the integrations.

Great CRM - highly recommend
Date: Apr 12 2022SummaryWe've been really happy with Nutshell. We appreciate the pricing, that they're easy to get in touch with for support, and that they've been adding new features. It's easy to use, and there's not a big learning curve to get started. As the company owner, I used the timeline feature to monitor all communication with our clients, and that's essential for me.
PositiveNutshell is flexible, affordable, and they're constantly adding new features. As a business owner, I use the timeline feature to monitor all communication with clients.
NegativeI wish the search feature were a little more functional, but other than that, there's nothing at this point that I wish were different.

A Game Changer for The Reuse Network
Date: Apr 26 2022SummaryQuite simply, we could not manage our business without Nutshell. Or if we did, we'd need more staff, more time, and more stress. The addition of Nutshell marketing in the last year has been particularly transformative. With that addition our outbound marketing is much more comprehensive, more frequent, much better organized, and demonstrably more successful. That's been a game-changer.
PositiveWe use Nutshell to:
-- Track progress through the sales process for every sale
-- Document critical-path milestones through project sale and implementation
-- Communicate among team members with different roles in sales and implementation
-- Organize and keep track of our clients, vendors, service providers, and partners
-- Plan, organize, and track our outbound marketing
-- Plan and implement marketing followup
-- Document and track communications with everyone in our universe
-- Organize and manage our sales meetings
In other words, outside of our accounting function, there is not a single aspect of our business in which Nutshell has not become an integral and essential part.
Hardly least important: Nutshell support has always been fantastic. Prompt, attentive, thoughtful, and persistent in following through to a successful outcome. We were a pretty early user of Nutshell, and Nutshell's support has retained the sense (and reality) of personal care and attention, where so many others let their support devolve into impersonal and frustrating AI (emphasis on the I, precious little I) non-support.NegativeThe single lingering hassle is in email integration, where to attach an email thread to a specific Lead, you need to include the phrase "Lead-1234" in the subject line. The last thing I want is for our clients to think of themselves as "Leads", so we cannot use this feature, which leads to email overload in our Nutshell records. Why not "Ref-1234", or "Doc-1234"? Anything but "Lead".

Nutshell works for our organization
Date: Apr 28 2022SummaryIn general we are happy with Nutshell. It has become a critical part of our growing business. We tried a couple of choices when we realized we needed a CRM and settled on Nutshell. We have been glad we did.
PositiveIt is easy to use. Quick, useful reports, I don't have to have a 2 week training course to use the product. It has been stable and working when we need the software, and don't worry about it being the 'System of Record' for our prospect and client information.
NegativeGenerally not a lot of cons. The price is a touch higher than I would like, but so far I haven't felt it was more than the software was worth. Just on the edge. As a smaller company I feel we have to balance access to Nutshell due to cost. It the price was lower we would likely give more access.

Eric S. Review
Date: Apr 13 2022SummaryOverall I'm very happy with nutshell, we've had no issues with the platform in the last year, although we had to do a lot of tailoring to make it more applicable for our government customers/data. Customer service from Nutshell is great and timely.
PositiveThe design and layout is very simple and straigtforward, although the first day it took me a little while to truly understand the design and functions. Once you understand the layout it becomes very easy to continually use/scale.
The custom fields are great as it allows us to create fields for data that is necessary to track for our company.
Price is another big pro and one of the primary reasons we went with Nutshell. Nutshell is cheaper than our old platform but is still able to provide all the capabilities we need. Also the easy of adding/removing users and licenses/changing our billing is great.NegativeThe tool is more commercially tailored- not truly meant to be used for people whose customers are government agencies. Would like to see a capability for it to expand for govcon users.

There is also a noticeable deficiency in the ability to make analytic reports based on your data from your pipeline. Although pulling the data into excel and doing the reports ourselves is a simple workaround.
Although the import of our data from our previous platform done by Nutshell seemed the easiest approach, it caused more work ultimately since our customers are government agencies. When the data was imported it didn't go in the correct fields or the data didn't make much sense in the fields provided by Nutshell or had to be in custom fields entirely. If I could do it all over again I would've probably transferred the data myself. I'm sure if we were a commercial company, the data transition would've been a lot easier. -

Nutshell Review
Date: Apr 28 2022SummaryI use it daily to keep up with my customers and their open projects as well as keep a record of my team and my own sales numbers.
PositiveIt helps me keep up with sales, leads, customers, and companies. The dashboard is straight forward and easy to understand.
NegativeThe search function is very particular and often is hard to find projects.

Perfect for reminder and organizing the thing to do
Date: Apr 26 2022SummaryMaintaining contact with people I contacted and remembering to follow up on proposals I sent out were my primary challenges. I stay on top of the things I need to do to move forward when I have my leads listed in a "pipeline" format based on the stage, or lifecycle.
PositiveThe features of Nutshell are comparable to those of a premium CRM, but you can use or ignore them.
You can track all emails by the customer and reduce the amount of time you spend trying to remember or find what you sent.NegativeUnlike a lead created for a person, emails sent to a person remain attached to that person rather than the lead created for him or her.

Rubust and Efficient!
Date: May 04 2022SummaryNutshell support is fantastic. They go above and beyond to listen to their customers and really make product updates based on that feedback!
PositiveNutshell is a very cost effective and robust solution for CRM. From small to mid size businesses it provides a suite of features that are easy to use and allow sales teams to realize their power.
NegativeI think the design UX could be more modern and engaging/intuitive.

Versatile!
Date: Apr 11 2022SummaryIt’s a good CRM, support is fantastic and very friendly, and it works reliably. The customization is remarkable - you can really use it as a tool to execute your selling process, rather than adapting your system to its capabilities. Support is there to help you do it.
PositiveGood all around CRM for my needs: keeps track of contact data, keeps my prospecting tasks on schedule according to cadence, maintains deal flow, etc.
NegativeNo individual scheduled email function. If I could write an email to a specific prospect and schedule it to send at a set date and time, it would be very helpful. Other CRMs do this, and I wish Nutshell would.

In a nutshell...
Date: Apr 25 2022SummaryExcellent. This is my second implementation of Nutshell. First was a sales group repping aluminum and glass commercial building envelope materials. Second is for a non-profit which provides pet food and veterinary support to senior pet owners. Two very different applications and both have worked well.
PositiveEase of use, nice interface, the ability to bend Nutshell to uses it probably wasn't made for. Tags make for customizable reporting. App is solid and helpful on the road.
NegativeFor a non-sales use, it has taken some creative work-arounds to make it work. Even so, customer service is always right there to help.
