Overall a good experience and great value for the offering. For the price you cant get more features than currently with OOMA.

I love that OOMA can now support sending rich text messaging! I've been with 4 other VOIP providers that talk about doing texts, but its only simple text messaging. With OOMA, i can send imagery... and for my customers interaction in an artistic business, this makes all the difference.

As most VOIP providers go, the tiny lag in answering is still a problem to be solved. This will come from ALL the providers and is not specific to OOMA alone.

It's an okay phone system. As stated above it needs to be able to handle more than two pages to be faxed at a time.

Love the phone supplied and the multi-lines coming in. We went from two lines to six and love it. OOMA is easy to work with when you have an issue.

I would like to be able to scan and fax a bigger file than two pages. Currently, you can only scan and fax two pages at a time or it states the file is two big. Very inconvenient!!

We switched to Ooma Office approximately 6 months ago and wow, what a phone system! During the pandemic, we were forced to work from home for extended periods of time, however, with Ooma, we had 100% access to our office phone system through our cell phones and iPads. Ooma Office made navigating the pandemic and working from home very manageable.

Transcribed voicemails occasionally incorrect and difficult to read.

What I like is that I can get and receive my message easily, this is the most upgrading I've had to phone services as well as business in a good while. I love the Ooma experience. Make sure you get it now, and just to make it awesome they had the phones buy one get one, great.

Services, prices, great communications, great customer services, just all around excellent and guarantees.

Using my cell phone to answer my office phone line has been a life saver. So many fewer voice mails left on my office number because I can answer my office phone line with I am on the go and out of the office.

Use Ooma call forwarding to forward your office phone line to your cell phone. You can be on the go and have your office phone with you at all times.

I have and continue to enjoy all aspects of my Ooma Phone Service.

Went through AT&T, then Spectrum, then another VOIP company. OOMA finally provides me with a system that works completely. By being cloud based, if we lose the internet during a storm, our cell phones receive calls.

Service provides me total control over menus.
Allow me to create unlimited call groups.
Creation of multiple virtual assistants.
Allowed to add user's cell phone to call menus and either call consecutively or simultaneously.
Easy to port my old numbers.
Only 19.95 per user.

Haven't found any yet.
I can't complain about pricing, because it's the least expensive of options that work .

We have been a user for over 5 years with no complaints. UI - very simple to use by anyone with any level of computer experience.

Cheap.
Reliable.
No down time.
User interface is simple enough to teach to computer illiterate workers.

There really aren't any cons that we noticed. We never had a service interruption due to OOMA (only if ISP was involved).

One of the best phone systems we have purchased. Even though some of our employees is having a hard time getting used to it. LOL

I love that the main phone has a nice screen and touch buttons. I love that I can have the phones on and ring to my cell phone at the same time.
Customer service is pretty amazing, most of the time.

I don't like that when I park a call it gets stuck or drops.

I like that when I answer a call through the app, I have to accept the call instead of it automatically connecting the call.

Occasionally, I receive my text messages late, but its very infrequent.

Overall, I find Ooma Office to be a fantastic solution for anyone who wants to have the most professional image possible, and yet without the pain of having to go through a traditional landline service provider.

Their desk phones, particularly the DP1, which is wireless, are especially useful for flexibility. You literally just plug it in, and as long as it's near your main connection box, it works beautifully with quality, uninterrupted, and clear sound. Their desktop app is quite robust, and has text messaging and fax features enabled, which is great. I don't use this feature, but some would benefit from having a toll-free number which is provided at no cost. I might have more of a need for this as I expand. Finally, I love the ability to record a greeting with a set of menu options at the beginning. Just awesome all around!

The only con is in regards to their online support. Whenever I had to use it in the beginning, and once or twice for billing, they really just refer you to call instead. That seems to defeat the purpose of the convenience from a chat feature, which I really need since I can't dedicate a lot of time tied up on the phone when I have clients in and out of my office all day.

Excellent seamless experience, never had an outage in years! The cost is minimal, the phone sound quality is way better than traditional phone systems and louder too.

Ease of installation and portability through my cell phone, easy to check voicemails and the fax feature is quite nice as well!

It was such a departure from old school phone system it took a little mental recalibration on my part.

I’ve used Ooma for home service at my primary secondary residences for years and am completely satisfied with the call quality, customer service, and cost savings. When I set up a new business enterprise, I naturally looked to Ooma as my telco service provider, and have experienced the same benefits in my work environment that I have for years at home. Overall, it’s a great service from a solid company!

The biggest advantages of Ooma:
* massive cost savings over traditional telco service
* enhanced capabilities such as checking voicemail online, email call notifications, and having calls ring simultaneously on your mobile device (not forwarded)
* low cost-of entry for home or office setup

The most immediate drawback I see is my phones are now tied to my internet service: if your internet service goes down, so do your phones (and credit card processing at my business as well as anything else dependent upon phone lines). Fortunately, Ooma offers an internet backup option to provide a cellular-based backup solution that is relatively inexpensive. Overall cost is still significantly less than traditional telco service, with all the benefits of a VoIP solution. It’s also worth noting that the Ooma phone equipment is designed to work in tandem with lines / extensions: in other words, you can’t purchase extra wireless VoIP phone devices and have them ring on an existing line without also adding (and paying for) another line. You can mostly work around this by purchasing a standard multi-handset phone and connecting it to the output of an Ooma hub – if your phone has six handsets, all of them ring just like any other phone. I do wish I could simply purchase from Ooma other wireless VoIP phones to use with my existing lines.

Support is great. Wait time is usually less than a minute or two. Very easy to manage once you use it several times.

Completely in the cloud solution and easy to install. Perfect solution for a small to medium business. OOMA is very cost effective and costs up to 50% less than traditional VOIP solutions.

It has a lot of great features which exceed the needs of most. There are some advanced features that more expensive systems have that are missing.

Seems to work 99% of the time- when it doesn’t we restart the internet connection & the phone to fix it.

Features- app for smart phone to make & receive calls while away from desk, voicemail via email & app, conference room, virtual fax, & virtual receptionist.

There’s not really anything to not like- setup was easy & it works as long as your internet is working. Was able to use same ethernet cord going to pc. Only problem I could foresee is if you don’t have an ethernet line where you want the office phone.

So far ease of use and great tech support staff makes me recommend Ooma to my customers. I have yet to have a poor experience with using the Oom voip system.

Auto attendant feature is getting better all the time. I like the options Ooma has and I also like the tech support staff. I have yet to have a poor experience with the staff from Ooma.

I don't like the added fees for services. When stating 19.95 per month and then adding on the fees. Make the fees part of the total up front cost for the service.

We prefer Ooma over our previous provider in every way. The app is amazing, everything is under our complete control at all times, the text to speech feature in the setup is awesome! Everything is so easy to use that we actually use all the features that are available to us! With our previous provider it was hard to even figure out how to use any special feature so we just never did. We're finally getting what we pay for. And it ups our professionalism exponentially!! Even our clients are pleased with the new phone system and how easy it is to get to the party they are looking for. Excellent experience all around.

The most amazing customer service I have encountered ANYWHERE! I didn't have to wait more than a minute to get help on anything, and that was through email! Phone is even faster! They are so incredibly attentive and easy to work with, they made us feel like we were the only client they have! Shout out to Maria S. at Ooma!! You are AWESOME!
My favorite feature is the transcribed voicemails. I no longer have to listen to the message several times just to get a call back number or some other information as it's written right there in the transcript for me!

I have no complaints! Honestly, the customer service alone was enough to make us switch from our previous provider. The user interface is far more user-friendly and we had no trouble figuring out how to set everything up the way we wanted. The only feature I would like to see added is sending faxes to more than one email address, which I hear is in the works. Everything else is great!

Generally satisfied. I am able to make calls and receive messages. I use the system daily.

I like the easy installation. I installed two work stations. My assistants found it very easy to use.

Learning the system has been a challenge for me. My phone does not ring at my desk.
