Overall it is a good application having both some pros and cons. It had many features which is what I have liked the most.

Had many features other than many companies. I got many features for free which is very worth it.
It is easy to use.

The ui is complicated to work. The ui is not well promising to work.

Overall the software is good. I am also suggesting companies to use this OrangeHRM free HRMS software for their company.

The application as i experienced as HRM was excellent which full fill the requirement, we suggest to our customer if they want startup in their organization with any open source application.

I give starter a 9 out of 10. Generating a payroll report is crucial, and a minimum requirement for any company. The jump from Starter to a paid plan, just to get a company timesheet report is prohibitive. I am sure our school and many others are forced to copy and paste each employee's hours into a spreadsheet. Not a real value add.

Starter has [almost] everything you need to get your HR management in place. The system is very intuitive for anyone who's setup or configured a SaaS product. The ability to import any data set is awesome. With a full feature set that includes employee demographics, org structure, pay grades, timekeeping, goal-setting and performance reviews, it's a great way for startups and small organizations to be compliant, organized and accessible.

The only thing that keeps this from being 100% functional is the missing timesheet report for all employees, or by group. Running one report PER EMPLOYEE is a real bottleneck; ESPECIALLY at payroll time, even in a small organization like ours with 6 employees.

Personable individuals introduced me to the product and it all is very intuitive. Good product--good concept.

I really like the customizable options and the customer support was good. The ease of use and understanding is top notch.

The product, while good, was not feasible for a small non-profit with limited resources and budget.

Overall a satisfying experience, the HR gets to do its job and IT learns a lot from the complex application configuration. It's no doubt expensive, so a minimum 100-500 seater should look at this.

My overall experience with Orange is OK for the basic or daily features bit few modules could be improved to go deeper in each HR topics.

The report part for Performance review is not readable, involve manual work to collect the data.

We love Orange due to the fact it does way more than any HRM and it is stable. We self host and had it crash 1 time in 10 years of use and that was not from Orange but MYSQL.

Has the most features of any self-hosted products.
East to train Department heads to Hire, check time sheet and to evaluate employees.
Makes life way easier to onboard right off application.

Set up is time consuming but well worth the time once it is set up.

Since it is a small company, we have to save money wherever possible. This makes it possible for us to have a great system and put our focus on employees.

I wish it was able to be used online. Only one person on my team is able to input and relay information.

This software is great for all types of business. It is like a one stop shop for HR functions. If you are looking for a software that can handle all of your HR needs, this is it. I love that it is affordable and also delivers quality service. We are transferring our entire HR back office over to this software. These ease of having it online is perfect.

In the age of HRM software being locked behind multiple paywalls, it's very fresh to find something open source and fully functional.

Easy to setup with great documentation, very open about what the software can do and can't do. Fully open source.

Training non-technical people with it was tough but that would happen with any software.

As a beginner of the system I have nothing to say. Overall system is good as of now.

The experienced using the software is fantastic. I've been using the application for 6months and the software did not had failure or error when logging in. Everything runs smoothly. The employees files are all in tact and are easy to search when needed to check. The salary tab where I can modify and add all necessary details are very relevant in my payroll job. Employees salary reports are all easy to navigate that would help me to create the company monthly expenses. This OrangeHRM software made my task easier and faster thus I am recommending this to all start up company out there to try and you will never regret on it.

We are a start up company and our number of employees are increasing. Hence the job in organizing the employees data and file is not an easy job to make but with the help of OrangeHRM, our database of our employees are made simple and easy to navigate. The software makes my job as an HR/Accounting Officer easier and well organized. The system is so easy to use. It has tabs for each employee where I can modified the status, names, job description and even add files on them. There is a salary section where I can do my payroll task in the easiest way possible. Salary Report and History Section to view all disbursed salary for my reports. All the will made my job and day to day task easy to access and navigate. I cant thank enough the software, it made me to do my role in a very timely manner.

Theres not really that I don't like on the software but I can suggest for an add on tab for log in and out of employees through this software. So as a Timekeeper in charge, this would be very convenient on my part to do the payroll section after the log in and out of employees are linked from one tab to this tab. just payroll.

We have been using it for a long time. Easy to use user friendly. Report Generation and all is good.
