I have used this in my development environment for automation of employee onboarding for the last year. It is, in my opinion, the best open-source HRM software that I found for this purpose at least!

- Flexibility of setting up the instance
- Clear and easy-to-use interface
- Bulk-import of employees using a CSV file

- Missing an employee export (to CSV) capability
- Unable to bulk-edit values on multiple employees

As the installer it's pretty painless, the HR team seem to be quite happy with using the product and it has been very stable and reliable.

As a business application, this is what we want.

* Easy to install. No complex requirements.
* Learning curve for users was good.
* Interface is responsive

* Needs more design work around DR capability (beyond backup/restore). This would elevate it as an option in bigger companies.

We started using it some time ago, and it has always worked perfectly for us, even when we had to upgrade the software, it is a very useful tool for managing the HR area, it includes everything you need and more.

High processing power.
High availability.
Very well detailed and useful functions.

We can say that it could be said that a disadvantage is that it is in php, but its functions are excellent.

The software was great, we went from having all our HR info on excel spreadsheets to a cohesive system. We have since moved to a different software but the only reason we changed is because our new system links our CRM, HRM, Inventory and Marketing tools in one single platform, otherwise we would still be using OrangeHRM. It is a really great tool.

Liked the ease of use, setup was simple and day-to-day use of the software was great.
Also liked how we could pick modules that suited our needs rather than a one-size-fits-all package.

Nothing; everything was great. The set up support was super helpful and the software did what we needed it to do.

Overall good product works smoothly. We can manage employee information and employees can also check details like leave, attendance, notification, salary etc.

I like attendance management calculating present and leave days and calculate salary. Employee profile management and we can manage assets provide by office.

If you don't like any option you don't use it and ignore.

Overall a very much intuitive software for small scale to mid-sized industries. The experience right from installation is smooth and your employees would love the standard version of it. Meets the expectations and lives your wishes.

- Certain dependencies needed for installation which sometimes the org might have concerns on
- as the employee base grows, and need to have other features, this goes out of fashion
- Mobility is an issue. No mobile app. Or portable versions

Using this product since last 2 years now and is delighted to use this one of the best HR management software. I'll always recommend this product to others to enjoy it's easy and simplified options and adopt them in their career path. OrangeHRM is one of the excellent HR management tools which allows a user to access his job related searches, have an overview of human resource importance in career growth and can monitor self performance. Its reliable user interface helps to understand each single module in an effective way. User can easily see his team mappings, KRA's and his job profiles which leads to overall growth in career.

The URL has to be reloaded sometimes during huge trafficking which can be improved. Updates are not frequently available which can cause durability issues. Enhancements of module sub-options is not seen much which restricts the user to some specific options only.

This is a good HRM application with very ease in access. Very easy to configure with employees, data, projects, etc. Setting up in server is also very smooth installation.

Overall i like Orange HRM.
Using Orange HRM is easy and in the orange HRM every functionality is covered.

Good user experience and excellent customer support. Would highly recommend OrangeHRM to any companies ranging from startups to MNCs. OrangeHRM is full of enriched features which makes the product very attractive.

User interfaces could have been even more friendlier than how it is now - but I won't say this as a con, rather as a suggestion for improvement.

I explored many options, then got to know about OrangeHRM, I think this is the option I was looking for, where I have everything at one place.

The software is good, However, they should change the design to be more comfortable for the user, and maybe add the interaction with other apps.

It's a good product and can help you to manage the information of your people, and you can use free.

The mane and some features are a little old, the design can improve and do the menu more interactive.

Overall the product is likeable and simple to use. Compared to other similar products it lacks some novelty like feature packed Mobile App.

Quite an easy and simple tool to use. Learning curve is minimal, because of which helped to onboard team members without any resistance.

Look and feel of the document and actual version we are using is not matching.
Mobile App does not have Time Reporting feature.
Reports can not be exported to excel etc.

It's very good for people who really use all the features, it needs some edits to make it easier for new users.

The design is so good and comfort for eyes. A lot of features but for a person as me i do not need for all that features.

The pricing i think is high, a lot of features that makes it harder to use.

I am very satisfied with this product in whole, it is easy to use and effective, especially for free.

Lots of useful features and a great overall design/intro to HR system. Pricing is fair especially with the free trial.

I think there are certain features that just aren't there. I also wish that there was easier ways to get support.
