Overall, we have been very please with Procare and the features we have used. Their support staff is very helpful with every question that we have as well.

It is so easy to track attendance and in turn, process and send billing. I love that everything is integrated together. There are so many reports available to fill any need you may have.

It is pricey but overall worth the price in my opinion.

Overall, I think Procare is the best childcare management system there is. It integrates food program, attendance, family accounting, and staff management all in one place.

This software is easy to use and mostly intuitive. Once set up, you are able to run a variety of reports that are useful in all areas of your childcare business. I am a long time Procare user (17 years) and I'm still learning new ways to use these reports in my day to day management. I like the food program reports, enrollment reports, and attendance. We are able to customize our staffing based on child attendance and that saves a lot of money in payroll hours.

I would like to be able to allow parents to make payments on the Procare parent app with the credit card fee like you can do in the center. We have also had a problem changing out the profile pictures for children on the parent app. When a child enrolls as an infant and has an infant picture on their profile, we have not been able to change it as the child grows and changes.

Procare covers all the required licensing requirements for documenting and tracking. I like the majority of the features, just wish for a few changes. I think our team uses most of the features but could do better with implementing and utilizing more.

I like all the options that are available on the Procare Desktop application. I think that being able to customize so much and pull so many different reports has been very useful.

I wish that Procare Online had the ability to print whole "files" for a child, which included the child's daily activities, messages and other options since enrollment. Often times we need to pull all those for different issues/incidents that come up, and it typically involves a lot of time and screenshots.

Procare is an all day go to. Teachers sign in, children sign in and attendance is easily kept in check. Each meal is posted for parents to see. Notes can be posted documenting anything you need to refer back to for each child. Parents are easily reached through messaging. Pick ups are easily verified. Children who visit your class are easily learned about. You can check their profiles for allergies, food concerns and any other information which will help keep them safe and happy in your care. The program is easy to use and all teachers are able to easily use it.

Attendance, meal counts, notes, and parental communication are just some of the useful features of Procare.
Easily viewing each child’s vital information is just an added bonus.

Pictures of each child’s vital information are not kept in albums and notes on each child are not all kept in one place. You have to scroll through a child’s activity page to view both.

We use this in every aspect of our day,. From child reports, to tuition, to sign in and out, and so much more, it has made managing our preschool much easier.

We use Procare solely for our registration process, enrollment, and tuition processing. During Covid, we began using features that we hadn't used before; such as the parent engagement app. That has become a crucial part of our program. We use it for photo sharing with parents, as well as messaging. It is great to be able to send messages, like texting, without having to give your cell phone to parents.

The cost has been steadily increasing each year.

Procare has been easy to use by both admin and parents. Parents like the option to pay using tuition express and the easy check in and check out using the fingerprint system, Admin likes the ease of creating reports and having everything available.

Procare's check in and check out features, along with billing and tracking is easy to use and helpful.

Currently, there are no dislikes to Procare Solutions.

Overall we love using Procare and would recommend it to any childcare facility. Especially from an administration standpoint, I am able to oversee so much of my center all through the app.

As a childcare center, we were using a ton of different pen to paper documents to record everything needed during the day. Procare is a one stop shop for basically all of that. We have attendance tracking, live ratios, sign in and out records, meals, naps, diapering, parent communication and billing all at our finger tips.

Our only struggle is the dependency on wifi- as with many programs. We do not have great cell signal in our area so if wifi goes out, our Procare cannot be used.

I’m disappointed that the cloud and desktop are not compatible. It’s also worth noting that families use 3 platforms to submit data. Website for registration, TE for automatic billing, and the app for classroom communication. It’s confusing for families

Procare offers great features for scheduling, billing, time clock and record keeping. The cloud platform even enables direct messaging to families, menu publishing, and newsletters.

I’m originally a desktop user. I us the accounts payable module. When we added the parent engagement app to our package we got access to the cloud platform which is very user friendly, especially for families. Well, it could be. Since we have desktop, we don’t have access to all of the cloud features and some of the data doesn’t sync.

I really enjoyed being able to use the app as opposed to having to call daycare about the ledger. I am impressed by how easy it is to use and navigate the app without any guidance. It is very intuitive and I recommend it for any parent who has their children in daycare.

I loved how easy it was to get updates from my daycare (i.e. check in, check out time, account ledger). Especially as a divorced parent who shares custody with my co-parent, this app allowed me to communicate effectively regarding childcare needs.

When we transitioned to Procare, it took a long time for me to get the access code. So I had to use the old app for an extra month.

Overall we have enjoyed the wide array of reporting available and the dedicated support. Even with recent issues mentioned, the Procare team is a great partner and dedicated to making our experience the best it can be.

Procare offers a few different platforms that meets the needs of various companies. The platform I have experience in is School Care Works and Procare Desktop. Both options are very user friendly and allow the user to customize pieces to reflect the need of their business.

We have had difficulty with recent support requests. Questions are answered quickly but unfortunately, there have been several responses where the support rep did not seem to understand the system or how their end user uses the different features.

I have been using Procare for over 20 years and that should be a testament to how well this product works in our industry. I have checked into other systems and none of them compare to Procare.

I have been using Procare for over 20 years. Procare has been the best childcare management system. I have talked to a lot of directors and most other systems can not do what Procare can.

I don't have any bad things to say about Procare.

We really love how easy it has made daily and monthly responsibilities and interactions. The opportunity to make changes by the parent to authorized pickup and photographs is great. Teachers love the daily activity feed, parents love the instant updates.

It really simplified monthly billing and attendance. The daily activity choices are awesome. Parents love to see what the kids are doing, and we love being able to include photographs of the kids in action. Newsletters re a great resource for upcoming events as well.

Parents don't always have cell phone access for the app to see daily activities or make online payments.
Can't change the choices in the potty activity, it's only pee or BM, but can't input that child did both. Not all staff can adjust attendance mistakes. Can't edit sign ins from my chromebook.

It's a comparable daycare app, wish it was one price for everything and not added pricing for things. it's very user friendly and parents love the messaging.

I find the attendance tracking wonderful when having to pull for DSS reports and the ease of sending out bills with just a few clicks

Great, intuitive, tons of features! I enjoy using it everyday. I also never have to train anyone to use it, just send them a link and its easy enough that people just figure it out, which is worth it's weight in gold!

We love the all-in-one platform for messaging and sign-ins and ratio management and billing and activity tracking and reports and immunization tracking. Great to have everything in one place. Also very intuitive and easy to use. Never really have any parent questions/issues, which is so nice. Support is also 10/10, which is RARE for SaaS companies in my experience

Some features could be better like an admin being able to switch teachers rooms without needing their pin or the staff calendar being able to sort by rooms, and the export feature, etc., but there is a way to submit requests for them, which is nice.

While Procare offers a lot of features, it can be on the pricier side, which might be a consideration for smaller centers.

The billing screens are difficult to navigate. Additional features and filters would be helpful, for example filtering between tuition billing and attendance billing.

Reports don't always meet our needs .
Reports can meet difficult to interpret and sort.
Not enough capacity for creating unique invoices (for example, i have to choose for the current or next billing period but some families on 12 month payment plans receive invoices during periods their child is not in school) and not enough billing autonomy.

Overall, I would have to say that Procare listens to their customers when it comes to the program. A lot of what we need is already met by their constant flustering g to their customers.
