* The best thing about Slack is that it has adapted very well to voice or live video communication, this allowed more flexibility for people who want to communicate something directly without having to type all the time. From all the time that I have used this platform, I can say that it is a great help and it is very practical to be able to have quick communication such as video calls, so the implementation of Huddle in Slack allowed my work team to communicate more easily time to want to share important information and make the points clear, which through writing can be confusing at times and the information may not be transmitted by both parties, so having this tool is very useful in the long term for effective communication.

* The night mode was a relief for me for those moments in which I needed to maintain communication at certain hours of the night for my work. I really liked that they thought of the end user since when you have a hard job sometimes you have to stay up late doing work within a company and your eyesight can be affected, however, this platform adopted the night mode very well that allows chatting without spending so much the view works better on OLED screens since since each pixel works independently, the black is purer so it will not emit light but only in the colored or white areas. Therefore Slack works very well in night mode on these types of screens.

* There is no problem with uploading files in Slack chats, it supports a large upload of large files and besides that if you have a good bandwidth this platform will not have problems or limits when uploading a file, so large project files can be easily uploaded. Although they can also be integrated with cloud storage platforms that will make it easy to immediately share files with others without having to re-upload the files, thus everything would be more automated.

* For those who plan to use Slack for free, I personally would not recommend it since it has a limit on all chats for a period of 90 days. This is detrimental for any company since it is important to have a complete history of the conversations without the need to make manual backups. Also, if you have a project that lasts more than 3 months and you want to look for the first conversations to clarify doubts, this could not be possible, unless, as I mentioned before, copies of the conversations are made, however, it would be tedious. do this since when consulting a conversation after 90 days it will be difficult to search for something within a copy of the chat since it will not be intuitive how to do it within Slack. For the rest, I don't see a problem using this platform for free if you only need to use basic functions that do not depend on paid features, it is very useful when you want to learn how to use this platform and also test features before purchasing the Slack services definitely.

* It is disappointing to have to compulsorily purchase the Enterprise Grid plan in order to have unlimited workspaces, it could be more flexible if, depending on the plan, a limited number of more than 1 workspaces could be added. This may seem like it's not useful but it is useful to keep all the conversations organized and not have a lot of accumulated chats, so it would be nice if the Pro and Business+ plans have at least 2 workspaces to make sense on the scalability of each plan since it would not be convenient to have the Enterprise Grid plan if you will not use all the functions that Slack presents. Otherwise I have no problems with the different features offered by the different plans of this platform.

* I would like Slack updates to be automatic regardless of the device, I say this because when they add a certain feature and not all the people in my work team constantly update their applications and when I use a new feature to explain something not all they will be able to see it, this causes you to have to wait or notify everyone to update Slack or just use the web version in order to use those new features without downloading anything. With Huddle it was the most recent experience I had with this problem, since the ability to draw while making a video call had been added and not everyone saw what I was annotating on the screen due to the simple fact of not having an update . At least that Slack itself be notified that there are new updates and that not only the AppStore or Google Play do it, since there are people who disable automatic updates.

It should have an internal calendar system and not use external calendars like Outlook or Gmail. It is good that calendars can be synchronized from other platforms, but having an internal calendar would help this platform to have a better workflow to be able to schedule meetings within Slack and not outside, likewise these internal calendar annotations should be synchronized with calendars from other platforms, allowing you to automate everything and export event data more easily.

It does not have any tool that allows recording the meetings that are held within this platform. I have to resort to external tools to do that job and it's annoying because first of all it takes up storage inside my computer it also takes up RAM that I can use for other tasks. Secondly, I would like more privacy since if I could record the videos within this platform nothing would be exposed, also if I wanted to save the video call recordings elsewhere then I could have an export function to any file manager in the cloud .

When I spend a lot of time with this platform, I have to restart everything because it freezes or shows wrong or outdated information. This shouldn't be the case as you should have a constant update without needing to reboot anything. This happens on both Windows and mobile devices. I don't understand why this doesn't happen in the web version, I don't know if it's because a tab is refreshing all the time or it's simply an internal problem that Slack has with respect to the applications for Windows and mobile devices.

Teams can have chats, multiple people not on teams can chat. You can lock chats so that only people in the chat can see it. Integrates with zoom really easily and flawlessly. You can call from it, it goes on your phone. Keeps you fully connected when you need to be. Has multiple integrations with other software.

You can't set up a Slackbot outside of channels. I wish that Slackbot was useful in 121 chats.

Slack has many positive features that help to have a good conversation within any communication channel, however, one of the main negative things about this platform is that there is no way to control the Chat channel that you have created, there is no way to function that allows you to restrict the number of messages that a specific person can send me during a specific period of time, therefore, it is very difficult to maintain order in a previously created Chat channel. I believe that this platform should implement a system to regulate the number of messages that a specific person can send me within the Chat channel in a short period of time. In addition, another of the negative things about this platform is that it does not have any type of function to review video conferences or group video calls, you can chat calmly and in a stable way with your work team through text, but there is no way to start a video immediate call as all the participants of a Chat channel, this function is very necessary and would help to optimize the communication within each chat channel in our company.

Slack is great, we've used / use both Slack and Teams and I do think they serve two very different markets and purposes.
As an early stage, startup I would recommend using Slack and as you scale and perhaps go enterprise I would recommend using Teams.

Excellent UI, Ease of use is great, minimum setup hassle and simply a great platform for communicating and working with team members

It can get expensive really fast, not really a good platform to do community stuff with as those run up to hundreds and thousands for each user.
It is also worth nothing that Slack does have a free plan that has I believe unlimited users, issue is that there's a time limit with how far you can go back with messages.

The main things I don't like about Slack is that there is no anti-spam system and there is also no setting available to prevent sending messages from time to time. It would be great to be able to configure a chat room so that people can only send a message every 5 seconds, this would help the chat not get out of control and there can be good readability of all messages sent. Another thing I don't like is that despite having a private and public channel creation system, after you've already created a private channel, you can't switch it to become a public channel, this makes it a bit difficult our work since sometimes in our private chat channel, we want a specific employee to enter, and they cannot since the channel is private. To solve this problem, we have to add the person manually to the channel, they cannot enter autonomously. These are small negative characteristics that can be easily solved, having these negative characteristics present does not mean that the system does not have good functionality and that it does not generate benefits, on the contrary, it is a software that is very worthwhile.

Remote communication with my work team has improved since within this platform everything is more orderly and simple, which allows the correct management of the conversation, labeling them by topic for better communication within a work and professional environment. The integration with Airtable seemed wonderful to me to be able to synchronize conversations and not lose the thread within one platform to another since they complement each other very well and everything is kept within the same space.

The structure of this platform means that you do not lose the thread in each conversation, I was also able to recover certain points discussed previously and in turn be able to create a conversation based on past conversations without losing the thread thanks to the fact that you can mark certain conversations so that everything is clearer and more orderly.

I found it quite useful to be able to manage the network or workspaces using an SSL proxy within my corporate network. This prevents anyone within my network from entering unassigned workspaces. This gave me more security and privacy, limiting intruders to stay out of my company's conversations and only authorized personnel can enter this platform without compromising anything important.

+ Regarding the projects, it has integrated very well with platforms of this style, being able to share files related to the project such as documents, videos, presentations and more. Also, I can access all uploaded files in both Slack and any project management platform where files have been uploaded there, it's easier than having to go through it all over again. Likewise, I have full access with the Box integration of my files and the files that are worked with others within the Box platform without any problem.

+ I can even have Slack on my mobile devices, when I want to stay connected with my team without sitting at my desk I can just manage everything from my mobile device. Although this brings disadvantages and it is that the application is not very complete, however I have not needed certain features of slack on my mobile phone since I manage them very well in the browser version which is much more fluid than the desktop version.

- There are several times that the notifications of the meetings do not reach all the people, this has been a big headache since generally certain people did not show up because they did not have an alarm that told them when a meeting was approaching . Usually the solution to this is to use certain platforms like Google Calendar or some other similar platform. In addition, I advised adding a manual entry to the agents of each person involved in a meeting in case this platform fails. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't, so this is very important for automation and convenience in not having to manually enter upcoming events.

- Maybe they could add a feature that allows adding some sort of stories like you find on most social media these days. I know that Slack is designed more for a professional environment which can maintain better communication with the work team and keep the work environment tidy. However, I have found it very useful to be able to add states that allow adding texts, images, videos, this with the purpose of being some type of information billboard similar to those found in both work offices and schools. For me this would be easier than notifying certain things for each channel individually and getting lost in the chat, I know you can pin messages, but it would be more useful for me as day-to-day statuses, it could even be used for long periods and not just for 24 hours.

- I don't understand how the workspaces are available in the Enterprise Grid version, it's a bit annoying because I would like to be able to have certain workspaces in my current plan which is Business+. For now I do not require the features that the latest Slack plan offers me, with the plan I currently have it is enough to improve communication within my company, however, the workspaces are very useful and having to pay for the latest version which the only feature that I will take advantage of is the workspaces does not seem fair to me. It is not necessary that they be unlimited workspaces for previous versions, but they would add several according to the plan for which you are paying.

- I would like to be able to sort all channels alphabetically or by categories, currently it is challenging for me to only have the option of "unread messages" and "all channels", this is very incomplete for me, I need more variety if I want to keep a order in my workspace and not only know if I have messages or not, since it can cause stress when going by order or importance in each channel. I hope that in future updates the Slack team will get down to the hour and implement these features which are too useful to keep everything organized.

When we started using Slack, we were finally able to have a cloud based system where we all communicate with each other about important areas of our work, and send files without issues; with Slack, we do not have issues regarding missing deadlines, forgotten reminders and lost emails, we simply have everything inside of Slack and organized in channels, which honestly, has been the secret key behind our increase in productivity because we have everything in on single space, we are able to have more flexibility over our channels and have more control of our teams by setting daily reminders of important tasks, and not only that, but the integrations have helped us set up automatic tasks that are completed throughout the day and keep us all informed about our areas of work, Slack has unified all our communication into one and it makes it easy to talk to different team members.

Slack is an innovative way to organize communication inside a business, it is smart enough and the creation of channels make the process of communicating more neat, it helps differentiate between tasks and projects, and I like that it becomes really easy to talk about different projects and send a message to a channel instead of sending an email for a reminder. Inside Slack there are many tools that enhance collaboration and provide the right features that help organize all the messages, there are many formatting options for the type of message being sent and it is easy to start video calls or normal calls with just a button, it is a space where everyone is able to join and communicate with others inside the organization and have a more productive approach to projects. Also, I like the amount of integrations that work with Slack, many of which we also use and integrate for more automation and collaboration in our every day routines and to find things easier because they are inside Slack, I also like that it keeps everything stored and it does not get deleted, we can access chat history any time we want and it will be there, and it has a high security that ensures that all our conversations stay private.

I do not have any complaints towards Slack, however I think that being a software that groups large amounts of conversations and channels on a single platform, there needs to be some kind of organization around it in order to find things, especially the threads, which we use to organize ideas everytime we discuss something about a project; these need to be organized in a way that will be able to access easier in a later time when they are needed, Slack is a platform that needs to be constantly “cleaned”, otherwise everything will look to crowded and it will be difficult to access key information about certain things in specific.

After the first week of using Slack, substantial changes began to be noticed, all our employees have improved communication in a general way, they have been able to hold discussions through this chat system, they can hold meetings in a private chat channel, In addition, they can communicate with other employees of the company located in another labor sector. Slack is currently one of the most complete software that we have used, I have loved the work expectation that I have had during all this time and I have loved the favorable communication that my employees have had. I fight every day for my employees to stay connected at all times, and Slack has been present during this challenge, I am completely satisfied.

Having a communication of all the teams and being able to interact in a consistent way is what Slack provides us. My opinion regarding this software is quite positive since it has provided innovative results in the construction of a constant communication system, where all employees can exchange ideas without any limitations. The things that I liked the most during my experience with Slack are the following:

1. Slack provided a very stable chat system, all the conversations I had with the different work teams were totally stable and I could switch the device I was using to continue the conversation from my phone, it was a pretty good process. The conversations are shown in real time, I can talk from my cell phone or from my computer with the same fluidity, in addition, I can participate in the various chat channels belonging to my company without any restrictions, it is incredible.

2. I love the way Slack notifies me when I've been mentioned in a specific chat channel, plus when a discussion has taken place in a chat channel, the App also notifies me. The notification system works wonderfully, I get notifications for all the changes that are made in a chat channel that I belong to and many notifications for more reasons.

3. The word search system works great, I can look up specific words to find a particular message, this system is great as I can find really old messages without searching manually.

4. Slack also allows me to send private messages to a specific person. Not only is it based on group communication, but it also allows me to send a message to a particular person so I can have a more direct conversation.

One of the main things that needs to be improved in the Slack system is that the sending of various files and documents should be optimized. Slack is a fairly complete software that helps communication to be stable in various parts of the company, however, when trying to send several files simultaneously, the sending takes too long, which causes delays in the sharing of information. We use another third-party app to transfer files while chatting on Slack, but we'd really like the opportunity to share files, images, or documents from Slack without any delays in the process. Optimizing this file transfer system would undoubtedly make the user experience much more complete for everyone.

It's a great business communication tool overall. New features are good. Can communicate with your peers in the company quickly and notifications work really well. I use this everyday and it is a primary tool that we use to communicate. JIRA integration and integrations with Zapier makes it really productive.

Overall, I have loved using Slack. My team and I haven't had problems with the program, there is a reason we keep using it and have no desire to switch over to something different at this time.

Clean, easy to use, and personable. I really like how I can create my Slack to be the best fit for what I need. I also really like how you can have individual messages between coworkers, but then easy group messages as well. But, messages throughout the work day can become distracting, so I am glad Slack gives you the option to mute your channel if you are needing to focus on a project or in a meeting.

I have been using this platform for the last two years and haven't found any problems yet. But, this could also be because I haven't used many other messaging platforms quite yet to compare Slack to.

Slack has been a very important platform in the operation and communication of our entire company. I am very happy with the results obtained so far, we have been using this platform for more than two years to communicate with each other, I consider that the sending and receiving of messages is quite good, in addition, you can see how many people have seen the message you have sent , I can also organize the Chat channels through a fairly easy configuration, so the afternoon to that platform and the general configuration is a very simple process and only takes a few days.

It is important to highlight that it is not expressed that we have different sectors where there are different work teams made up of employees. Therefore, creating various Chat channels has helped us to divide all employees into work teams, where each one can communicate in a consistent manner, in addition, the fact of creating unlimited channels is very important to us, since we can create a specific channel for a specific work team. This has helped tremendously as there is no way for an employee to be embedded in a Chat channel where they don't belong.

2.- Another thing that I like about this platform is that different roles can be assigned to each user. For example, you can assign an administrator role so that someone is in charge of leading a guy with a specific communication channel, in addition, you can also assign roles for jobs, to differentiate each job for each employee. Assigning the roles within this platform helps a lot, since each employee will know who they are contacting, you will be able to understand what job position a colleague has in their work area, in addition, they will also be able to know the job position of the other employees incorporated in other chat channels.

3.- The third thing that I like about this platform is the real-time operation, all the messages sent and received within the various Chat channels are received immediately, they are viewed by all the participants of the chat channels. Chat, which works in real time, helps a lot to improve the interaction of all employees, so that they can communicate without any delay in sending or receiving all messages within the communication channels. In addition, all documents or files that are transferred from communication are also displayed in real time, as well as all shared images are displayed in real time.

4.- The fourth thing that I have loved about the platform is its ability to integrate with the vast majority of current software, it is impressive how this platform is able to integrate with services such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Keep and many others. These integrations help a lot to get the most out of this platform, we have connected the platform with different software that our company currently uses, in order to get the most out of it. The integration service that it has had with Google Calendar has helped us to share schedules within a calendar, as well as we have been able to share written notes with our work teams thanks to the integration with Google Keep.

5.- The last thing that I like about this platform is its application for mobile devices and how well it works, this application sends immediate notifications when someone has mentioned you within a Chat channel, as well as keeping you informed of each of the changes made in the Chat channels. I love this application very much, I have it on my mobile device to be able to communicate with my work team through the corresponding chat channels.

Slack has provided many features to improve communication within the company, it is important to note that the vast majority of features have achieved a positive result in another company. However, we have also perceived some negative things that are very important to mention about that platform. I will mention them below.

1.- One of the main negative things about this platform is its terrible integration with the OneDrive service, we currently use this cloud storage service to store various files, but we have noticed that the integration service with this platform is quite terrible, since it is not capable of transferring many files simultaneously between both platforms, as well as the transfer process between both platforms is quite slow, therefore, I recommend that this platform be integrated with another cloud storage service, no with OneDrive, since the performance of pretty bad.

2.- Photos of the negative things of this platform is with respect to the search system. The search system within this platform is quite bad, since it does not show all the results for a specific word search, it is only capable of showing the most recent results to allow users to find more recent conversations. I believe that the search system should be much more optimized, capable of showing all the results of a specific word, so that it helps us find very old conversations.

3.- The third negative thing within this platform is that although communication can be made through text, it is currently not possible to communicate through a group video call with all the participants of a communication team within this platform. Communication through text is quite efficient, you can send and receive messages whenever you want, however, it is very necessary that simply a group video call system to allow the members of a communication channel to talk to each other, you can communicate in one way. much more optimal shape and very good quality.

Slack has been with our company for several years, we really regret starting to use it, as this platform has been very influential in the process of improving general communication throughout the company. I consider that this platform was quite easy to use, the learning curve is completely simple, in addition, this platform allowed us to integrate and organize each of the employees in different Chat channels, so that they could communicate directly with their team worked. I love the way this platform allowed me to create unlimited Chat channels, plus I loved the fact that I was able to talk to each of my colleagues in each Chat channel in real time, as this allowed me to have a Constant and stable communication with any of the members. I am very happy with the results that I have currently had with Slack, I find it to be a very beneficial platform, the mobile app also works great, which allows you to talk to any of the participants in a Chat channel anywhere in the world. that you are, in addition, you can access the Chat channels of this platform without having to have an Internet connection, therefore, if you need to search for a specific type of message or a file that has been recently shared in each communication channel, You can access the platform without having an Internet connection.

Slack is a very important platform when it comes to communicating openly within our entire company. I really liked that this platform allowed me to constantly send and receive messages with my entire work team. It was quite beneficial in being able to send receive messages in real time, since each of the messages that I sent during each Chat channel was immediately viewed by each of the participants, which helped me a lot when communicating directly with my team worked. It is important to highlight the fact that I can access in a limited way any communication channel in which I am a participant. In addition, this platform allows me to organize each of the channels in which I have been added, to be able to access them much more easily. In general, I really like the platform mainly because it helps me communicate in real time, I liked the way I can organize all the channels, also, I liked the fact that I can transfer files immediately with my team worked.

The main drawback that I got which is using the platform in company, is that this platform has a bad word search system, the word search system allows me to search for any type of word in the channels that I have recently added, however , this function does not show all the results, it only shows the most recent results of the word that I have searched for, which affects when obtaining results for a specific search. I also did not like the fact that there is no seven minutes and power system to regulate the number of messages that my employees send in each Chat channel, since this sometimes causes employees to get out of control and write many messages in a way constant, I would like there to be some kind of function to be able to regulate these messages and maintain order in each Chat channel. I also did not like the free version of this platform, since it has limits when it comes to creating various Chat channels, it also has limits on uploading and sharing files, and it also has limits on editing the profile of each of the users, therefore I do not recommend using this free version at all, as it does not allow access to the vast majority of important Slack features.

This platform has improved in all the communication that we have had in the company, we always had problems with the projects because the thread of the conversation was always lost since we did not keep everything organized, but rather everything went on the fly as we had a conversation after another without thinking about all the problems we were going to have by not having a platform like this one that would order all the conversations for us. We have solved the problem because previously we used the means of communication that was Whatsapp and it was not very efficient, so we had to change the methodology with a more organized chat so that we can find everything without any problem. To discuss things quickly, it is not necessary to create a link or meeting room. You can instantly join any meeting most of the time all required features are supported and user status is reflected, this saves time and is quite informative. Communication with clients has improved by being able to include them in the projects, since they feel part of the entire process and are not left as third parties by randomly informing them how the project tasks are progressing.

º I can use Slack to chat with my team privately and I can also create channels or join one to start conversations about a project so it facilitates company communication without losing the sense of communication.

º It has a good search engine in which it is easier to search the threads of the conversations when there are many conversations ahead. It is a good function because when there are many issues ahead of a project, sometimes the conversations get diverted and you have to go back to what was previously discussed.

º I love how friendly and intuitive the user interface is. The channels make it easy for me to centralize conversations, take notes and it is easy to set up video call meetings

º The chat has all the features of chat clients, but with certain additional settings that allow easy and useful communication.

º Communication with clients has improved since it allows us to keep them up to date with the projects, thus allowing us to have more transparency when showing the status of the projects in question.

º They allow conversations to be marked by hashtag depending on the topic being discussed, so it can be easier to search without problems when you want to resume an old conversation without losing the thread of the current conversation.

º There are errors or connection losses with the calls made within this platform. This makes me resort to external programs for video calls or calls that have fewer losses to have clearer and more efficient communication.

º I should create a function that facilitates the way in which private messages of threads are shared because currently this can only be done manually, I mean by this that you have to be copying and pasting all the message that I want to share with other teams of worked.

º Doesn't fully integrate with emails with other platforms, sometimes won't sync or just shows a loading error. This also happens with other storage platforms, there are platforms that do not show the files that I have uploaded and this is necessary if I want to keep everything connected within my company.

º It has problems with alerts, they should improve that aspect because you always have to be testing before starting everything because if we don't realize when we have message alerts with others or the channels in which I am united

º Sometimes the loading times are too slow, you have to wait for it to load all the chats such as private conversations, as well as the channels and this takes time and sometimes it is preferable to leave the desktop computers on to be able to enter the platform faster Slack by desktop.
