I love the marking feature slack during video call. I can use the virtual "pen" to mark on my colleague's screen and she/he can see where I mark. That's the most valuable function I love about this app. And code formatting and highlighting features are amazing!

One of the things I like the most about Slack is that I can do absolutely any configuration of the channels and the entire panel, just by using a couple of commands. I should place the sign "#" + whatever I want to do, and instantly, it is done. Thanks to the command system I can make any modification of the chat channels or their elimination, in addition, I can also delete or add new members to the channels.

One of the most notable positive features of Slack is the section that is below the main panel, in this section all pending messages, mentions and reactions, specific threads of conversations and also saved messages are shown, this section helps me to be able to visualize specific messages and to be able to know when or in which communication channel they have mentioned me. Another feature that I like about Slack is that it also has the ability to communicate with anyone around the world, no matter where that person is, just simply integrate them into a chat channel and you can immediately have one direct communication. Slack messages are receive instantly, which helps make communication totally fast.

Slack's search system is not optimized at all, this search system offers the user the opportunity to search for a specific message or search for some conversations on specific days, however, I don't like it because it takes a long time to search the various results and when you find messages, not all your searches appear, only a part of what you have found or the most outstanding messages. I would like to have a more optimized message search system that allows me to find what I am looking for.

I've been in small and big companies and slack has worked for both as messaging tool. I like channel creation and management. It's easy to find messages since it has a powerful search engine. A lot of integrations available for other tools. It's cheap compared to other options in the market.

Voice notes would be good to add.
Voice calls and conferencing need improvement, not many features aside screen sharing.
For not "techie" people can be overwhelming to understand.

Sometimes people can reply in a thread and out of a thread, so that can get confusing, but it’s more user error than a problem with the software.
