incredible solution for large teams
Date: Aug 17 2021SummaryOverall, I'd highly recommend Slack, especially to organizations that either a) do a lot of virtual/remote work or b) have very large teams.
PositiveSlack completely changed the way I interfaced with my colleagues across a large organization. It allowed for a more democratic flow of information and real time feedback.
NegativeThe search feature could have, at times, been more intuitive.

Intuitive and effective communication channels to foster collaboration among colleagues
Date: Apr 24 2021SummarySlack is what we needed for workgroups to stay segmented and provide their views and opinions in the right work channels. It's extremely easy to use, saving users time while keeping them sharing information and moving projects forward. It has been of great benefit in keeping our productivity at its peak. The customer service is very good, and it works great. You will enjoy it as much as we do.
PositiveI love how intuitive Slack is and how easy it is to create channels to discuss, debate, and provide views of ongoing work and projects; it makes communication and collaboration more fun and effective; since using it, I have had no problem staying connected with my colleagues and moving our projects forward to meet goals. Slack also has excellent customer service.
NegativeAn integrated video conferencing feature would be a plus, and in my opinion, the only thing this tool lacks to be the most complete of its kind. It is excellent, and everything within Slack works efficiently.

Office Based connections that work
Date: Sep 04 2021SummaryIf you can afford slack, it's an unbelievable software for teams to work together. If you cannot, the free model works very well, losing only history of text and files.
PositiveSlack is an easy way to bring teams from all over the globe together in real-time discussion to help solve problems on the go, fast and easy.
NegativeIncredibly expensive pricing models with no leeway for non-profits or volunteer teams. The free model works, but only so well.

I love Slack
Date: Jun 10 2021SummaryOverall the Slack app and desktop version both work great and fast. Hardly experience any type of lag or delay when sending messages and the layout is easy to use and very well organized. Would recommend to any company to use.
PositiveRuns smooth and lets you organize your group chats by category which makes is so much easier to find the information you need when you need it. I love how easy it is to use and it's a great way to keep communication running smoothly between coworkers and managers in remote job settings. Would recommend to any remote company looking for an easy way to communicate with their employees.
NegativeHardly have any cons that I can think of, occasionally I have experienced a slight delay or freeze in the app but that has only happened once over the last 9 months so overall there are no cons I can say about this app.

The right platform for collaboration and work communication is Slack
Date: Mar 27 2021SummaryIn concrete terms, this tool provides us with a unique communication opportunity; offering us totally open channels with permanent availability to exchange information between employees and facilitate operability, although no calendar management is set to specify the time that must be used for each task.
PositiveThis application offers an optimal communicative collaboration through channels that integrate tools and files. It has options for information transfer through messaging or allocation of any type of files. It also has conversation threads that allow us to have parallel communication without hindering the main one. It is an excellent tool that unifies the internal communications of our company; physical or digital to optimally manage all the obligations that sharpen a labor stability that, in case of doubts, you will always have a channel at your disposal to consult with supervisors or collaborators.
NegativeTwo of the most notable problems of this application are first a lack of calendar management within the channels, tasks and projects are scheduled, but without date specifications. On the other hand, it does not provide a hierarchy system within the chat to delegate a collaborator to manage the flow of content.

I love the way Slack communicates with my team.
Date: Feb 24 2021SummaryMy overall experience with Slack has been pretty good. When I started using this platform, the adaptation process was quite fast, since it is not a difficult platform to use, the configuration of the chat channels is quite simple and to configure the communication in a general way in all the channels, it is easy. In addition, Slack offers a perfect notification service, which keeps us attentive to any mention, any pending message to read and any movement in the chat channels. I love Slack, his ability to communicate with my team is impressive.
PositiveIn our company, Slack is implemented in all work areas, in this way, all areas can be mutually communicated and there can be a greater flow of data. One of the features that I like about Slack is that this platform offers me a chat in real time, in all chat channels, this has allowed me to send and receive messages instantly and thus be able to have direct conversations at all times, without any kind of delay in receiving messages. In addition, I really like Slack's notification system, as it can let me know which chat channel I have recently been mentioned on and it also sends me instant notifications for when I have pending messages to review. Slack is impressive, and his ability to keep in touch with my colleagues is also impressive.
NegativeI've never had a problem with Slack working. This platform is correctly optimized and it has always provided a fluidity when communicating with my work team. The chat channels always remain active and this allows that there can be a perfect sending and receiving of messages continuously. I will continue to use Slack, since it benefits our group communication so much, I hope it continues with this good behavior and never gives me any type of errors during the communication process.

Good instant message tool
Date: Dec 23 2021SummaryOverall a good communication platform that is used heavily by my org. The biggest ask is that they role out new features to both web/desktop and mobile at the same time. It's frustrating to try to use a new feature only to have it tell me it's not available for mobile yet.
Positive* Custom statuses
* Public & private channels
* Integrations with zoom/google calendar
* Customizable notification optionsNegative* Cannot manage private channels as an admin under the free non-profit plan

For group discussions
Date: Feb 04 2021SummaryIt is totally for professional or conversation between the group, you can have individual chats and calls, but it doesn't fit best for it. But for broadcast and group chatting, it is perfect.
PositiveSuppose you need to convey your message as a broadcast in groups. It fits very well. You can send a message, and one can have a conversation in the text message itself.
NegativeThe free version does not provide enough access, so you can use it and decide whether you want to buy it or not.

Keeps the team working in one direction.
Date: Feb 15 2021SummaryWith the help of Slack I can maintain orderly communication with this instant messenger that can be structured very easily. It has facilitated collaborative work between employees, as well as being able to communicate between departments to share information with instant responses. Slack has been quite important to my company when it comes to not being able to meet to discuss between work teams due to the quarantine.
PositiveI like it because I don't miss out on talking about one project or another thanks to the creation of channels and that all the conversation is well structured and organized. The integration with Hubspot is excellent since it maintains two platforms that I use in one and thus not have to pass information manually. I can also communicate with my work teams about something about the company or any type of conversation since the information can be separated. If I want to search for information within the channels, it is very easy with a search engine, it is not necessary to ask the question twice and thus avoid confusion.
NegativeSometimes I have problems searching for certain information within so many channels. Yes, there is a precise search engine for that job but it would be better to be able to save messages or store them in a place called "favorites" and to be able to tag them for an even faster and smoother search. That would be my only drawback with Slack.

Great free communication platform
Date: Oct 01 2021SummaryIt helps our team to feel connected even though most of us work remotely. I am thankful to be able to resolve work issues more easily due to the quick communication.
PositiveMy colleagues and I use this app every day. It allows us to communicate freely and quickly about work.
NegativeThe group messages have a limit of the amount of people, so you have to create a channel if it goes over the max.

Stable connection for open communication with colleagues.
Date: Feb 17 2021SummaryMy experience with Slack has been regular, because as I mentioned earlier, the mobile phone application that Slack offers me does not send me notifications about everything that is happening in the messaging of the sectors of my company. Slack has been a really good platform, I have been able to communicate with my colleagues without any delay in sending or receiving messages and I have also been able to enjoy great stability in the chat channels, I have never had any fall during a conversation or discussion with my work colleagues. Slack is quite fluid and its user interface is too comfortable for anyone.
PositiveI am a Slack user, I use this platform in order to communicate with my entire work team and be able to promote the connection of all work teams. Slack has been a really good solution since it was implemented in our workplace, because I have been able to connect with my colleagues directly. What I like the most about Slack is that this platform allows me to edit all the chat channels and also make changes to the members of the channels, just by using commands. By placing the # symbol, I can access a wide variety of commands that make my stay in Slack more complete and I can make modifications more easily.
NegativeI'm not getting as many notifications from Slack on my mobile device. The notifications with the computer version, which Slack offers me, sends me notifications when they mention me in a chat channel or when they send messages in a channel that I have not muted, however, this experience is not the same when I use Slack in my mobile device. On my phone I use Slack to communicate with my work colleagues when I am out of office hours, however, I do not receive notifications when I have pending messages in a chat channel or when they have made changes to the channels, I only receive notifications when I mentioned in some message.

Slack is an organized communication zone.
Date: Feb 22 2021SummarySlack has been able to help me channel all the information that is handled within the company, this has strengthened internal communication and growth for the correct and clear transmission of information. This platform has been able to establish an organized conversation by allowing no work team to select the channels they are interested in or need for feedback on a project without having overwhelming chats that hinder the work flow.
PositiveIt facilitates communication in the development of collaborative work. It has third-party integrations that allow me to keep everything in one place, such as integration with zoom or Google applications. I like it because it is a good option for communication between external teams. It is very fluid, I have not had any problems due to platform failures. I can both zoom and chat on the Slack platform at the same time.
NegativeIt is a bit difficult to find a conversation in old chats, it takes a bit of time if I need old information. The threads function is a bit poorly done in the sense that sometimes I get confused or lose the thread when everything is published in the same thread, this prevents me from being informed of the new publications that are made.

A professional tool for communication.
Date: Nov 23 2021SummarySlack can be used as a primary communication tool for team members in any organization. The features it has makes the communication more informative, less time-consuming and overall it increases the productivity.
PositiveSlack is quite a useful tool for communication between team members, regardless of the organization size. It is a versatile application with various useful features that adds value to the organization. Slack doesn't leave an inch of possibility of communication gap between members. The price of the subscription is affordable and really worth the money spent.
NegativeThere are some minor cons that I faced in my usage, the icons are too small in the mobile application that leads to accidental touches. Other than this is a must-have application for any organization.

Slack keeps remote teams close in the remote world
Date: Apr 13 2021SummaryWe've had Hipchat and Cisco Spark before and neither received accolades in the company. Slack was quickly adopted by the masses and everyone is enjoying it. The app has tons to offer and definitely makes team collaboration legit in the current remote world.
PositiveVery intuitive interface (aka glorified IRC), lots of 3rd party integrations and addons, multiple platforms supported, audio and video calling, and frequent updates.
NegativeThere were some serious outages in the last year and the mobile app is pretty slow these days.

Slack is for today, but built for tomorrow
Date: Feb 16 2021SummaryOverall this is a must-have literally for any tech business right now. It was built by developers for developers and it is top-notch in keeping a remote dev team connected.
PositiveThis is a must-have for any desk-based team, especially right now. Emails are great but this is the best way to share files and messages quickly and jump right into a call if needed.
NegativeThe audio calling is not as reliable as other calling software. Otherwise, for chat, this is great for desk-based teams or desk-based remote teams.
