Slack comes with great features that make my professional life simple. It can be integrated with almost every platform that we use in our organization. It also offers personal and private chat modes on the same platform.

There are tons of great features slack provides to me. You can search and chat with coworkers using their email id. The integration it offers is endless. Works smoothly on mobile and desktop platforms. I can also send big files directly to the team while chatting.

I had a great experience with this tool, no negative to share.

Overall we are very happy with Slack. Both its design and easy-of-use are amazing. Even though there are a few bugs sometimes and they could improve on workflows, we will keep on using Slack for the years to come.

-There is currently no option to automatically add new profiles to group channels even though there is a user group management function.
-Password resetting is nearly impossible in workspaces.
-There is a bug where during screensharing the screen will sometimes just freeze

It is currently one of the best platforms to have a much more open communication with your work team, around 800 employees within our company are using this service to communicate with each other and share ideas. I am grateful for the general functioning and the experience that this platform has given me, since I started using it I noticed how communication between colleagues was improving, as well as how we are much more united, we could contact other employees from another sector of our company, share ideas and solutions to complete activities much more easily. * Slack does not have any type of system integrated to prevent spam within the chat channels, spam and the number of messages that are sent every day and at every moment is something that we cannot control within this platform, we have noticed that in sometimes the conversations within each work team of our company get out of control, and there is no way to recover them, there is no type of system that detects this disaster activity within each chat channel so that it can limit the amount of Sent messages. I would love for that platform to implement a system to control this, and prevent conversations from getting out of control.

* Word search is not as effective as it promises, when we started using this platform we were promised a rather poor search system, however it has cost us a lot to find a specific message within the extensive conversations of the chat channels , as I mentioned previously, the number of messages sent has to be regulated, to avoid disaster, I would love for the search system to work correctly, currently it only offers me a part of the results for each word I search for, thus omitting the oldest results.

* This platform does not send me any type of alerts when I receive a direct message within the platform, I do receive notifications for when you mention me within a message and for when I have pending files to read, however it does not send me notifications when I receive direct messages , this has caused the person who is contacting me directly to take much longer to receive a response from me.

Overall this solution provides all of the necessary features, while there is some room for improvement as far as notifications are concerned.

We utilize Slack for internal communication with one of the nonprofits that we serve as an outsourced finance officer for and it works great! The best feature is the ability to create shared, private, group chats.

One thing I don’t like is the inability to receive notifications unless you’re tagged in the message.

It's been a really good experience overall. I'd recommend it to any business or organisation that is looking for a communication solution.

I like how easy it is to use. There are so many great features. The more you use it, the more you learn what you can do with it and the more ways you can utilize it.

It can be a bit glitchy from time to time. It also does not make gifs very easily, which is kinda a shame.

Slack is a great tool to allow for day-to-day communication with other team members. While pricing is very fair, the platform is still limited and has room to allow for more product features to ensure a better enhancement to team work.

There are several cons associated with Slack:

1. User Experience is not the most friendly when it comes to replying to thread messages (can be a bit hard to navigate).
2. Platform is mainly limited to messaging, and could add more value if it offer tools to collaborate on team deadlines (like Monday.com/Asana).

We work remotely and need a way to be able to reach out for assistance/feedback and get in touch with each other immediately. Slack makes this more than possible with an easy to use format!

This product makes it very easy to stay connected with my manager and team throughout the day while working remotely.

I haven't found any aspect of this product that I don't like.

Any company would like to have wide communication with various work groups and to be able to have a pleasant interaction with their work colleagues. Slack is the ideal platform for all those companies that want to enhance their communication system in a general way. It is important to note that Slack must make a couple of improvements in the search system, in order to make it more precise and show more results, however, my experience with Slack has been really good and I am happy with the results we have obtained in this course of time. Slack has allowed us to develop better conversations, in a totally stable chat channel where we can easily make a pleasant file sharing and we also have the ability to make direct calls to any member or in a general way. In addition, Slack also allows me to directly message a specific person, which also helps me develop a more private conversation. Slack has great potential as a platform to develop a better work environment and drive the conversation of all work teams, it is totally worth it and I recommend it without a doubt.

Slack specializes in being a totally stable platform for communicating various work parties. This platform currently in our company for about 1 year and a half, and its benefit has been great, since it has been able to improve the organization of work groups and also the general communication of the company and customers. The third feature that I like about Slack is its excellent security service with an encryption key for all conversations and files that have been shared from each chat channel, Slack has an Enterprise service that protects the entire platform with an encryption key. , in order to prevent any unauthorized person from entering our communication system.

Slack seems to me to be an incredible platform, since with the help of this platform we have obtained the ability to create a better work environment where there is never a lack of general communication from employees and clients, however, there is a feature of Slack that has not given me a good functionality and has not had a good development since I use Slack, this feature is:

- The search system. Slack offers the search service because new channels are created day after day, new conversations are started and communication is more constant every day, which causes many messages to be saved in a history that Slack offers, however, this system search is not as efficient as it seems, on several occasions I have done word search to find some old conversations, and Slack only shows a part of the results of the searched word, it does not show all of the results, I think this platform it does not show all the results so as not to saturate its operation, however this has affected my experience as I have not been able to find the conversations I am looking for. I would like to be able to see all the results for the words I am searching for.

Overall experience of this application is great, it's undoubtedly a great tool for Communication with no remarks.

It's a good application for communicating virtually over the chat or over the call with up to date features suitable for the current trend.

I found no cons for this application, everything seems good.

I use slack for more than 4 years now and I really love it. But with the pandemic we need to increase the voice communication between our team members. Slack doesn't have a push to talk room. To do so we use Discord.

I have been using it for a limited number of the participant where my focus is more on group chat rather than a group video call.
It can handle a good number of participant chatting via messages but not via video call.

It is a most suitable conversation which involves a lot of discussions.
You can sub reply to a message which needs to be done in a discussion.
It is simple and easy to understand.

Price is not reasonable as per what it provides.

Communicate with any team member from anywhere in the world. Keeps your convos organized in channels and neatly kept. Lots more use for this than just team members. Send broadcast messages to any group you create.

If you don't keep your channels at a minimum too many channels can get out of hand. You could have way to many messages and get distracted by all the chatter.
