Overall, Slack is primarily used for communication between large groups or organization, because of its rich functionalities it is very easy to communicate with colleagues remotely.

1. It can be used for one on one communication.
2. Catching up, and communicating among large groups, is very easy with Slack.
3. It has a nice user-friendly UI.

1. Sometimes the message notification have delays.

From 1 to 5, I would give Slack a 4, because it is a platform that has helped us to be able to communicate in our work area and to be able to maintain an interaction despite the distance we are. In these times of the COVID-19 pandemic, Slack has been very useful because it has provided us with an online communication with all my work colleagues, and has kept us connected for all kinds of discussions and to talk about any specific topic. Slack is very easy to use, the general design of the panel that it offers to users is very attractive.

Despite the problems that Slack presents to be able to search for words, its general system is very good, communication is always persistent and it helps to share information much more frequently.

Team Collaboration is quite an important issue for all of us, because this allows all activities to be accomplished and teamwork can be consistently performed. Slack is an incredible platform to develop teamwork and to keep all areas of a company communicated, the most salient positive characteristics that I noticed are:

1.- It has an excellent notification system for all types of devices, and warns at the exact moment when messages are sent in each of the chat channels.
2.- In the main section of the panel, when you log in, a small box appears where all the unread messages appear and the mentions that have occurred while you were not online are also displayed.
3.- The conversations of all communication channels work in real time and allow very simultaneous messaging to be had.

1.- I don't like that Slack conversations cannot be regulated, because on some occasions, conversation topics or group discussions get out of control and this creates a disaster in the chat channels. I would like to have system that regulates messages and can prevent spam.
2.- The word search engine that Slack offers is a bit slow, and it is slower when there have been many messages within a communication channel. As the time-line of each chat channel grows, the word search process will take even longer.

Great apps, wish they had made it little simpler to use compared to other collaboration software like ms teams. I love the great library they have compared to any other.

Just an awesome tool! Slack has been a great resource for my business to streamline communication connectivity. Now we have a robust platform to communicate, collaborate and integrate with other business tools in slack.

Sometimes calls drop or lag. This is infrequent though and otherwise, we've had no major issues with Slack!

Slack offers easy-to-use platform with ability to collaborate with team or coworkers. I use the platform daily to communicate in groups, closed groups and individually for work. Being able to download the app to receive notifications is also an easy way to keep up-to-date. The ability to call and video call via platform is also features.

In rare occasions, Slack crashes prompting all features to not be able to work. I've been using the platform daily for over a year and has only happened twice.

Overall a very well made communication product that rivals its competitors like Microsoft Teams.

Overall, it is a great app to use for group communication especially right now when COVID-19 is keeping us from reaching out to our friends or fellow workers but still, it doesn't offer much in a unique perspective if compared to the other available platforms.

Slack is one of those applications which can be useful for group communications. Be it for school or for professional use, Slack offers a lot of features for people to use. You can communicate with others freely as well as send pictures and attachments.

What I didn't like about Slack is that there are much better alternatives out there. It is just the same platform if you compare it to other communication platforms. It doesn't stand out in the vast array of alternatives available to the public.

I like how it's segregated in channels, and how conversations can be segregated among teams and one-on-one. I absolutely love the stickers and reactions that make the whole messages a lot more interactive.

I do not personally like the new mobile UI which can be improved a lot more.

Slack is the Best tools for the community-based program I love to share and talk about the events hackathon and open source project around the world.

Slack is a little bit slow in low network but it works great for me!

I have tried the free trial of slack recently, the application is pretty decent and the interface is very attractive. It has the calling options Supports both voice and video calling. File sharing in slack is good. On an overall level, the application is cool. Slack is a definite recommendation for companies of large size.

Slack has been very beneficial and is very easy to use. I think it is very easy to learn how to use it and would rate it 10/10.

When a lot of people are on one channel the messages can be a little disorganized and chaotic.
