    We turned to Sonatel expecting efficient support for our international operations—something completely normal in the digital age. Unfortunately, the experience has been deeply disappointing.

    They insisted on verifying a phone number we use exclusively to receive messages via connected apps, not for voice calls. Despite explaining that this is our internal procedure, they attempted to override it by forcing us to answer a verification call. This method is not only outdated, but also useless, since anyone could answer the call, defeating its intended purpose.

    When we expressed our disagreement, the customer service team responded with coercive and unprofessional behavior, even denying us access to any kind of complaints or escalation channel. Instead of offering solutions, we were met with rigid, dismissive, and empathy-lacking responses, which is unacceptable for a company claiming to provide international communication services.

    These types of practices wear customers down. Where is the respect for the user, or even basic common sense? Worst of all, it felt like there was no way to be heard within the organization.

    I share this review as both a reflection and a call to Sonatel’s management:
    It’s time to review your procedures, properly train your staff, and take customer experience seriously.
    Hopefully, more alternatives will emerge so we’re not forced to rely on companies that operate without transparency or accountability.

    Sonetel services tick all the boxes for us. I would give it 10/10. Great features, some we haven’t even explored yet, such as having the ability to transfer calls among our team and having multiple numbers from other countries.

From the outset, our enquiries were responded to promptly and professionally by Vasundhara, their support engineer. We are really impressed by the service and how smooth the entire process is. Every call is recorded in our account on the web and on the app. Text is delivered via emails. Simply brilliant!!

    Basic plan doesn't allow answer calls from apps

    The few calls I've been able to make are difficult to hear. In fact, some calls are cut off after a few seconds, and I have to call back, charging twice. The charge, in my case, is 0.01 CTS per minute, but it always shows double. I think if they solve the problem of being able to answer through the apps, it would be a good option.

    You're selling a product that doesn't do what you claim. On several of your websites, you offer free call answering via apps, and that doesn't work. You want to transfer the call to your local number, charging extra per minute, which can be very, very expensive. I insist: don't offer anything you don't deliver.

    Yo to date I have not had any issues with Sonetel and the Support Team (Kudos) great support but most of all issue resolution in a timely manner.

    I like that is it very user friendly and always connects the calls, I don't experience any outages when using Sonetel. I also like that it has a large amount of caller IDs available for USA and that you can forward the calls to your personal cell phone or voicemail.
