What is Tablacus Explorer?

Tablacus Explorer is a versatile tabbed file manager that allows for add-ons and has recently been found to have a serious vulnerability concerning script injection, particularly in versions 17.3.30 and earlier. Users who inadvertently connect to a malicious FTP site could inadvertently execute an arbitrary script, highlighting the importance of promptly updating to the most recent version if they are still using an outdated one. This file manager boasts a convenient multi-tab layout, compatibility with various add-ons, and operates entirely without installation, making it portable. Additionally, it accommodates multiple languages and Unicode, providing users with comprehensive details such as file sizes, labels, customizable associations, menus, keyboard shortcuts, mouse gestures, and aliases for an enhanced experience. Both 64-bit (TE64.exe/x64 Edition) and 32-bit (TE32.exe/x86 Edition) variants are offered to support different system architectures, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of users. By improving the standard Windows Explorer functionality, Tablacus Explorer simplifies the process of finding files and folders on a device, offering various viewing options alongside detailed file information. This open-source application is not only focused on efficiency but also emphasizes user customization, empowering individuals to adapt their file management environment to align more closely with their personal preferences. Overall, Tablacus Explorer serves as a powerful tool for those looking to enhance their file management capabilities.

What is QuickMove?

Every download, scan and export that lands in the wrong folder costs a drag and drop. QuickMove replaces that with a right-click: pick QuickMove and the file goes to the folder that kind of file always goes to. Rules are made once, in the Rule Wizard, by file name, extension or a pattern (regular expressions allowed), and applied silently ever after; a file no rule covers gets a list of your favourite folders instead. A move history with multi-step undo means nothing is lost. From the context menu you can override or edit a rule, route files into sub-folders by name, and have an existing file in the target renamed instead of overwritten. Add the Automation plugin (US$24.99) and QuickMove watches folders like Downloads and applies the rules by itself. Windows 11 first-page context menu. A single US$29.99 licence, paid once, with free minor updates; free edition and a 7-day trial. Windows 7 SP1 to 11 and Windows Server 2012 R2 and above. Email support within 24 hours.
