What is Zoom Whiteboard?

Zoom Whiteboard is an AI-powered digital whiteboarding and visual collaboration platform developed by Zoom for brainstorming, diagramming, project planning, and team communication. The software provides a shared canvas where participants can create and organize drawings, sticky notes, shapes, text, diagrams, images, and embedded documents. Its template library contains more than 250 ready-made layouts covering mind maps, flowcharts, Kanban boards, Gantt charts, organizational structures, and collaborative planning activities. AI-powered content generation allows users to create editable diagrams, multi-frame whiteboards, tables, and other visual elements using natural language prompts. The platform can convert Zoom meeting discussions and transcripts into organized whiteboards that capture important topics, decisions, and follow-up activities. Additional AI tools help users summarize selected content, identify action items, and automatically organize or categorize sticky notes. Real-time collaboration supports simultaneous editing, interactive polls, canvas voting, presentation mode, timers, and activities designed to encourage group participation. Teams can share whiteboards with internal colleagues or external participants using visitor links, temporary access, and configurable viewing or editing permissions. Integration with Jira, Asana, and Azure DevOps enables supported project tasks to be connected and synchronized with whiteboard workflows. Document management capabilities include importing PDFs, migrating boards from Miro and MURAL, organizing content into project folders, and exporting designs as images, PDFs, or Microsoft PowerPoint files. Zoom Whiteboard also provides version history, organization-wide templates, reusable shape libraries, role-based permissions, customer-managed encryption options, and integration with Zoom Meetings and Zoom Chat.

What is Zoom Hub?

Zoom Hub functions as a cloud-based platform designed for file sharing and content management integrated within the Zoom Workplace environment, allowing teams and individuals a single space to find, manage, create, and share a variety of Zoom-related resources such as meeting recordings, summaries, documents, whiteboards, clips, and data tables. It features an intuitive interface that allows users to easily search and filter their assets, sort them into folders, and explore files linked to meetings, as well as access content shared by others or that they have created themselves. Additionally, Zoom Hub streamlines operations by enabling rapid actions including sharing, copying, renaming, and deleting files while also facilitating workflows for generating content in Zoom Canvas, Whiteboard, Clips, and other formats. This functionality is available through both the Zoom web portal and the desktop application, making it ideal for users who regularly utilize Zoom and desire a cohesive workspace for managing their files and meeting-related materials. Furthermore, while access to Zoom Hub is included with Zoom accounts, the availability of certain features may differ based on account type, industry requirements, and specific functionality options, thereby making it a flexible solution for boosting productivity and collaboration across the Zoom network. Users can thus leverage Zoom Hub to enhance their organizational efficiency while promoting seamless teamwork.
