    The team is very responsive to questions.
    The time keeping is easy for employees.
    The videos and articles about APS system and use is very informative.

    Negative

    From our experience when you terminate and employee from APS you have to make sure you have paid them their last pay. Termination kicks them out of payroll.

    Easy to use, and reporting features are outstanding!

    APS does have all the product you need for maintaining a small business payroll department. The reporting meets all needs. APS takes care of the Federal and State reporting and payments on our behalf. Hiring is integrated with Indeed and onboarding is seamless from job creation to start date. If you do HR inhouse the tools are there to use. I especially appreciate the email or text communication features. I use it often to communicate with employees on a one to one level.

    During the years of Covid, ERC and Government reporting, the ease of pulling helpful reports has been terrific. Payroll is easy and onboarding has improved a great deal. For Ease of Use I give a 5 star review, and would recommend.

    Negative

    Much if not all of the training is passive, via videos and bulletins. Although an adventuresome soul would find this 100 % helpful, it does not help those employees who require one on one training as much. I often have to send the instructions or path to videos for those GM's unable to find the path through searching online. It takes some time to train, but once you have a basic understanding, the program is easy to navigate.

    I have enjoyed the system, and it has helped us cut down on process times and paperwork. Needs more integrations with major providers of other services like Quickbooks at no additional cost.

    Rocky start but great follow up

    A bumpy start but good follow up. They have taken great care in ensuring we are happy with our services. The small team that is assigned to our office is a great value. The answer quickly and you can actually get them on the phone for more immediate matters and send emails for those that can wait the day or two.

    Great ease of use. OSHA tracking is wonderful. Great communication platforms for forms. Time clock is great and easy to use. A personal team for support after set up is excellent.

    Difficult to get data needed for hours, benefit calculation was difficult to understand and implement.

    The APS team is very responsive to any questions. They have made switching from QB easy. When we did have issues with our PTO accrual, they quickly hopped on it and got it fixed hastily. They are great for our small team!

    My overall experience has been amazing. APS payroll is easier to use & the staff is very helpful. I don't usually have to call them but its nice to know I can if I need them.

    I love APS payroll. They make my job easy. I can add & terminate employees with ease. The website is very user friendly. I also love if I have a problem that someone is here to help me out. They usually always answer the phone but on the off chance they don't - I get a call back right away. Did I say, "How much I love APS??"

    Dependable, but not feature rich or very user friendly. The employee mobile app leaves a lot to be desired.

    Partners with our accounting software, R365. Dependably processes payroll each week. Like the employee document storage feature.

    Does not partner with our scheduling/time clock/POS software, Toast. Reporting feature is difficult to use. Customer support is not the best.

    I describe my review as Paying it Forward because APS Payroll has given me back so much time to do other tasks that it's like they are paying me. I can then spend more time on the tasks I need to work on to assist others.

    Very user friendly. Videos available for each module for refreshers if needed. Amazing customer support, although I find the tool so easy to use that we seldom need customer support. I love not having to worry about W-2's, W-3's, and tax reporting. The report builder really is just that-- I can build out any type of report and information I want to capture. Setup is easy. Timecards are easy.

    There really isn't anything that I don't like about this tool. I tried to think of something that could help APS improve, but there isn't anything.

    I started out in 2019 with absolutely no experience and they made it easy and educated me along the way. They can handle every aspect and payroll and HR.

    No matter your skill level, no matter the problem you are dealing with, APS has the answer and dedicated teams with diverse expertise to handle our every need.

    I honestly don’t have anything I do not like, the only minor thing I can think of is the new updates available that pop up, then again it’s an update so it’s helpful. Doesn’t happen a lot but when you are working and it pops up it’s a few clicks to get it to go away or wait and refresh.

    I think, like anything, there are positives and negatives, but in my experience with APS, there are far more positives than negatives.

    Positive

    I like how accessible APS is as a company. If we have a question or concern, or just need clarification on something, we can usually get an answer quickly. And when given an answer, they do a good job of communicating the reasoning behind it. I would recommend APS.

    Sometimes the website feels a little hard to navigate.

    We have used APS Payroll for a few years now. The system is not perfect, but it has been great for us. Any time we have questions there is always someone to help. The training is great. As we grow it grows with us.

    Easy to use. It connects time off well. It is easy to look and see what you need to see for each employee. It is a great system for our church as we grow in staff.

    I really do not have any. My finance team loves it. Their has become so smooth.

    This is the best HR/Payroll system I have ever worked with!! Best customer service by far! It is amazing.

    APS has great payroll and record keeping tools to make my life easy. Time cards work well and I can easily assign managers and move employees as needed. The reporting is very good with standard and custom options, and any time I can't build a report the way I want their customer service can help me out! Their response time is quick and they are always nice and helpful :)

    We have been with two other providers over the last 20 years. APS is far superior to anything we've experienced thus far.

    The customer service team is phenomenal—kind, considerate, thorough, knowledgeable, and possesses incredible follow-up and follow-through.
    They are constantly innovating intuitive solutions based on the end users' experience.
    Employee experience is exceptionally user-friendly. It's so easy!

    Negative

    The number of articles given when I submit a help ticket. Small annoyance.

    Life is better with APS

    It has been such a huge help as far as taking a load off of my activities and my daily duties, as well as the monthly and quarterly duties as well.

    Positive

    I love the reports and the ease of fixing things when my employees forget to clock in. I love the ability to setup holidays and the ease of seeing everything that payroll has to offer. I love the direct deposit options that are available. The customer service is great and they are always very prompt and helpful

    Negative

    I do have a little trouble finding things the with the amount of detail that I would like, but usually once I reach out for help I find everything that I need.

    APS - Best Payroll Service Yet!

    Overall, APS has been awesome. Knowing that I can reach out if i have a question is super helpful. Being able to post my job openings, and go through the entire hiring process with the click of a mouse frees up my time and allows me to work on other projects. Highly recommend APS!

    APS is has a user friendly portal, if you ever have a question, their customer service team gets back to you quickly. Having all my HRIS needs in one place makes APS well worth it. The time APS takes in training to make sure you are comfortable running your payroll is amazing. The app is also very user friendly.

    Didn't really get an introduction to the app and the features. But it was easy to figure out.
