Easy to use, and reporting features are outstanding!
Date: Mar 08 2024SummaryAPS does have all the product you need for maintaining a small business payroll department. The reporting meets all needs. APS takes care of the Federal and State reporting and payments on our behalf. Hiring is integrated with Indeed and onboarding is seamless from job creation to start date. If you do HR inhouse the tools are there to use. I especially appreciate the email or text communication features. I use it often to communicate with employees on a one to one level.
PositiveDuring the years of Covid, ERC and Government reporting, the ease of pulling helpful reports has been terrific. Payroll is easy and onboarding has improved a great deal. For Ease of Use I give a 5 star review, and would recommend.
NegativeMuch if not all of the training is passive, via videos and bulletins. Although an adventuresome soul would find this 100 % helpful, it does not help those employees who require one on one training as much. I often have to send the instructions or path to videos for those GM's unable to find the path through searching online. It takes some time to train, but once you have a basic understanding, the program is easy to navigate.

- Addresses most functions from hiring, onboarding, payroll, taxes, and benefit administrationNegative- The system can be costly if your labor force is made up of part-time employees since its billed a fee per employee.

Rocky start but great follow up
Date: Mar 08 2024SummaryA bumpy start but good follow up. They have taken great care in ensuring we are happy with our services. The small team that is assigned to our office is a great value. The answer quickly and you can actually get them on the phone for more immediate matters and send emails for those that can wait the day or two.
PositiveGreat ease of use. OSHA tracking is wonderful. Great communication platforms for forms. Time clock is great and easy to use. A personal team for support after set up is excellent.
NegativeDifficult to get data needed for hours, benefit calculation was difficult to understand and implement.

NegativeDoes not partner with our scheduling/time clock/POS software, Toast. Reporting feature is difficult to use. Customer support is not the best.

PositiveVery user friendly. Videos available for each module for refreshers if needed. Amazing customer support, although I find the tool so easy to use that we seldom need customer support. I love not having to worry about W-2's, W-3's, and tax reporting. The report builder really is just that-- I can build out any type of report and information I want to capture. Setup is easy. Timecards are easy.
NegativeThere really isn't anything that I don't like about this tool. I tried to think of something that could help APS improve, but there isn't anything.

PositiveAPS has great payroll and record keeping tools to make my life easy. Time cards work well and I can easily assign managers and move employees as needed. The reporting is very good with standard and custom options, and any time I can't build a report the way I want their customer service can help me out! Their response time is quick and they are always nice and helpful :)

Life is better with APS

PositiveI love the reports and the ease of fixing things when my employees forget to clock in. I love the ability to setup holidays and the ease of seeing everything that payroll has to offer. I love the direct deposit options that are available. The customer service is great and they are always very prompt and helpful
