Office 365 shows us an orderly and balanced point of view
Date: Mar 21 2021SummaryOffice 365 almost runs itself with how easy it is to manage. With the integration of our mail within Office 365 everything became easy for us to use, it's amazing how well we work with this toolset. We implemented Office 365 on our basic computers for the actual handling of email and it's a marvel. Everything has been handled more smoothly and almost nothing is complex now that Office 365 is with us along the way.
PositiveIn theory this suite of programs is essential for any business. They have kept us in line since day one as the updates it presents are easy and fast. The licensing is much easier to customize and this gives us features that Office 365 does not normally show us. It has fully programmed back-end management.
NegativeWe need a learning curve to scale to work in the cloud, although the tools are almost the same it is necessary to cover a mini course for its use. They could improve the online products and add to work in a better way in offline mode because if the connection drops most likely we lose all the process achieved.

Microsoft 365 is great
Date: Mar 30 2021SummaryOverall, we have had a great experience with Microsoft 365. I would highly recommend the Microsoft 365 applications to others!
PositiveMicrosoft 365 has some fantastic apps to help make your life (and your team's life) much easier! We are much more productive after using Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Planner, Teams, Onedrive, and more!
NegativeThere are a few kinks they are working out so that the Microsoft 365 apps sync with each other better.

Good but could be better
Date: May 24 2021SummaryMicrosoft is familiar to nearly everyone who has used a computer. They have an application for everything, and it would certainly be difficult to run a business without using at least some of their tools. But because it is a business that is already so dominantly successful, there is no real reason for them to focus on optimizing the user experience. They only need to do enough to stay on top.
PositiveIt's great that 365 has every application that an organization could need, from file creation programs such as word and excel, storage options like sharepoint, collaboration tools (teams) and email (outlook). Microsoft has a near monopoly on many of these applications, so it's no surprise that most users will have some degree of experience with them. Excel specifically is an incredibly robust tool that makes SO many aspects of data management simpler when used well.
NegativeLikely because Microsoft had such little competition for so long, there are a lot of clunky aspects to the programs and especially to the way the programs interact with each other. I've been both a mac and PC users over the years, and while some things are definitely more awkward on a mac, the bulk of my complaints are true on PC as well.
The interface of Teams is SO awkward and not particularly intuitive. Sharepoint is probably great but no one in my organization seems to know how to use it (or even really understand that it exists) so it is not well utilized. As much as I like excel, you can literally take entire classes in the program to understand what it can do. There are number of other applications available through 365 that I've never even really heard of. I am sure they would be useful, but Microsoft doesn't seem to make onboarding users to these systems a priority. They sell licenses to 365 either way, so they have no incentive to improve in these regards.
Similarly, Microsoft invests very little in improving the user experience, especially when compared to smaller, new organizations. As far as I am aware, Microsoft doesn't really offer much in the way of user support. On platforms such as our DAM (Widen) or data collaboration tool (Airtable), there are rich support centers and easy ways to contact their staff with questions. Microsoft does not provide these features despite the fact that they have SO many programs. While they certainly have a large help database, I find it extremely dated and more challenging to navigate. Perhaps it's unfair to compare Microsoft to these relative start ups, as it is an absolute behemoth with millions of users around the world. In most cases you can probably resolve issues by searching the internet. But I still find myself missing the well curated support portals crafted by these smaller service providers. -

NegativeThere is no con in using this software, but you need to be online to use this.

Very money minded
Date: Mar 04 2021SummaryIf you have a lot of money to throw then you can buy this. The features are good and have decent support.
PositiveMicrosoft 365 offers many tools like MS Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint and so on. Good for business as well as personal use.
NegativeThe one major con is that it is extremely money minded and super expensive especially for small scale startups and students.

Software Made Easy
Date: Aug 09 2021SummaryOverall, I would recommend Microsoft 365. It's an easy one-time setup and all of the programs run great across all my devices.
PositiveAs much as I'm not a fan of subscription-based software, it is convenient how Microsoft bundles all of their programs into one package like this. Updates are seamless and files are easily stored for remote access.
NegativeI don't think Microsoft 365 has any cons. It's easy to use and a good price.

Microsoft 365 is a no brainer for Windows PC Shops
Date: Sep 20 2021SummaryIf you are a Windows PC organization like we are, MS365 is a no brainer. Before the suite was SaaS based there was a lot to NOT like as it would take forever to get new functionality and then somethings didn't work. But with a SaaS model, updates and fixes are continuous and the tools are better/more integrated than ever which makes working them quite pleasant. Additionally for a small organization like ours...the free support is actually quite impressive. They get back to you and work with you online with desktop shares to troubleshoot your problems and show you new functionality. No need for a dedicated IT Admin anymore...at least if you have a tech savvy person on staff and are small enough that you don't need anything too complicated.
PositiveMicrosoft 365 is the best business/productivity product Microsoft created in the last 10 years. Having an all-in-one, highly integrated, continuously updated, and ever growing set of features and functionality for a ridiculously low price is a win-win...except maybe for the competition.
NegativeThe two downsides to Microsoft 365 is that there are so many tools now that it can be overwhelming. The other downside is if you like/want to use other tools that compete with Microsoft 365...it is hard to justify...like Dropbox, Zoom, Google Workspace. All those other tools integrate pretty well with Microsoft 365, but why would you pay another fee/subscription when you get it all for "free" with one MS 365 subscription...even if MS 365 functionality isn't as good when compared to these other standalone tools or competing suites.

Not Mac Friendly
Date: Feb 25 2021SummaryOverall it is good software. But the loading time makes me shy away. I love having all the productivity software in one place.
PositiveThe Office Suite has all the productivity software you need and it is rather intuitive and easy to find technical help in a variety of sources. It can be as elementary or in-depth as you need. It is always backward compatible. The features are generally much better than other software I have used.
NegativeI am no sure if it is a Mac thing or just a subscription thing , but the software takes forever to load. It can be upwards of 2-3 minutes. I have it on multiple machines and see it on every machine.

Microsoft Office 365 as an outlook for using any report or program
Date: Mar 21 2021SummaryMicrosoft Office 365 generated productivity and immediately we were able to implement online spreadsheets for the analysis of each case. We also ensured that each person has access to your file in a private and secure way, as well as we make sure that the client does not see it without our authorization to avoid any kind of inconvenience at the time of final delivery. Microsoft Office 365 works wonders on any computer, virtually all our employees use these tools for both internal and external communication. Office 365 is clearly today the market leader in terms of its use, price, speed and everything they offer us. The highest recommendation point is generated by the fact that the learning curve is feasible for anyone.
PositiveWe have quickly and reliably obtained an integration of all Microsoft Office 365 tools to be able to use it without any problem in our platform, in order to develop every project, every report, every ticket, that may be presented to us in our department. Microsoft Office 365 has always been accessible to all our employees, its web version has allowed us to share files without the use of any external application or software. Despite its simplicity, it has facilitated our work in a reliable, secure and fast way.
NegativeOne of the main disadvantages of Microsoft Office 365 is that it shows us too many tools that over time we do not get to use, they should only implement the most used options and make the program more bearable and lighter at the time of installation. Sometimes some programs lack automatic conversion capabilities and we have to drill down through a large menu of options to choose the one we need.

Cloud based file work for cheap
Date: Sep 04 2021SummaryWith travel and on-the-go work becoming more essential every day, Microsoft's foray into cloud word processing and spreadsheet management among other products in the office suite is a must for busy office workers no longer solely in the office.
PositiveEveryone knows the ins and outs of Microsoft office software, and 365 takes those stellar products and brings them to the cloud for easy editing and working on the go without ever worrying about backups.
NegativeSubscription models are frustrating, and the problems of Microsoft software doesn't go away with this model. Still, they're the standard for a reason.

Office 365 is now more necessary than ever on our server
Date: Mar 21 2021SummaryWe were able to optimize Office 365 thanks to its remote use which made our leadership more optimized with our workers and to be able to optimize time and work to reach faster through the cloud with our customers. Thanks to Office 365 we improved communication with all our active departments. Office 365 is highly recommended for both personal and professional work. We have managed to implement Office 365 throughout our company, which has brought us a 100% benefit in the last quarter. We improved our work environment thanks to Office 365 recommended.
PositiveFrom the beginning Office 365 has shown us a wide online offer in all its applications which has allowed us to take advantage of every function and feature of this software on our server. It has also shown us that synchronization between devices can be very accessible and very fast at the time of programming it. In short, its synchronization is excellent. Finally, another of the best features that Office 365 has is the integration in both the web system and mobile devices which makes us manage Office 365 from anywhere we are.
NegativeSometimes Office 365 can be extremely high compared to the prices of other software. Sometimes we also find the need to edit files, but it does not allow us to save since most of the time we need internet access to be able to optimize all the changes we make. In the mobile version we do not have 100% compatibility of the applications, an update is needed to fix this.

Office 365 offers yearly accessibility to a great suite
Date: Mar 26 2021SummaryOffice 365 is one of the most popular office suites in the world, and we decided to use it based on that. Fortunately for us, the network platform met the expectations of the organization in terms of interconnecting different services into one, and we will continue to use it to work with documents.
PositiveThe tools that Office 365 puts at our fingertips make working with any document format simple to achieve. Office 365 interconnects many services we already know from Microsoft's office suite, so creating a document in one of these programs and sharing it directly to another is possible. Office 365 seems to us a reasonable option to adapt documents from previous versions of Microsoft office software, getting them upgraded to the latest generation of software. We recommend a good review of the integrations that can be achieved in this suite, to better understand the dynamics that can be executed when working with documents.
NegativeOffice 365 only offers us one hour of minutes to our Skype account, which is very little considering that we pay $ 10.50 per month for each employee we add to our management. There is not a good reciprocity between office 365 and services like google spreadsheets, which require internet to be updated.

Pricey but necessary
Date: Aug 11 2021SummaryThese programs aren't going away - as they're too essential for productivity - and the pricing shows they know it.
PositiveThrough office 365 you receive access to MS Office's latest tools. Comparing how Word, Excel, PP, and so on have improved by leaps and bounds over the years, the latest versions of these essential apps is a big draw.
NegativeLook, it's pricey. I get that access for 365 days is cheaper than what MS Office used to cost when it wasn't a subscription based model but...i can do math without MS Office! It adds up!

It is an all in one office and more at a decent price.
Date: Feb 23 2021SummaryIt has helped me to be able to work collaboratively with my team with all the Office packages. It has also served me at home with my children and their school and university assignments. Synchronization between devices has helped me keep all my documents online and use them when I need them.
PositiveI love that it can bring everything in one, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive, etc. I can use both the desktop version and the mobile version using the same account so I keep everything in sync with my documents and files. It has an automatic autosave, I don't need to worry about saving anything or copying it from one unit to another since it does it automatically. I can also recover files that I did not save by mistake, this has helped me a lot on several occasions.
NegativeI can't install them on somewhat old computers, I wish there was a lite version for this Microsoft platform.
