I signed up for a 7 day window to try the product. I was unaware that if, after trying the product, you would be signed up to a subscription and your credit card would be duly charged. I contacted the company and was told politely that they would not reverse the charge on my credit card because their "terms and conditions" state that you must advise them you wish to cancel. This is a old scam and a lesson learned by an old senior. They did say that they have cancelled my subscription but not reimbursed the $70.00 subscription fee. Now not trusting this company at all I am in the process of cancelling my credit card and getting a new number.

I have nothing positive to say about this company other than they did reply by email to my request for a refund.

This company is set up to con you. If you sign up to try it and fail to advise them within a 10 day period they will debit your credit card for a full subscription which I never authorized. It is a total scam....watch out.

Totally bad service. They should be clear with their terms and even send reminders of renewal before they renew subscriptions.

I did not like anything about the app or their service. They ripped me off when I signed up for a week. They renewed the subscription at a higher cost than I had chosen initially. Why deduct more than $50 for a week's subscription of $0.99. You deal with them at your own risk.

I liked that I could use their app to edit my pdf document. There aren't many apps like that. They should be truthful to consumers. Ripping people off of their hard earned money is not a good practice.

According to them they are transparency and clear, but they are not. They deceive you to pay for the 0.99 usd trial out for 7 day so they can after that can charge for a 50 usd monthly fee subscription, most of the emails go to spam so you won't notice until is too late to file a claim. Also they won't make you a refund through the website, knowing that most of the payments and enrollments are through website. Horrible experience I strongly recommend to avoid this website and app

Great tool for editing and converting PDF online. It has many features such as Split and Merge PDF, Compress PDF, Delete Pages, Re-arrange pages online which helps to save time and efforts.

It is the secure platform with highest level of security available but still should provide an option to delete uploaded and New files.

Abhorrent business practices, plenty of alternative free and paid services that don't rely upon deceit to get grow their customer base.

I needed to fill out a lengthy PDF form. I stumbled upon this webpage and it took me straight through to editing my document on their site. Initially it worked well, so I proceeded with a the 30-minute task. Upon finishing, I am slapped with a payment request to access everything that I had been doing for the last hour. I felt extorted. I would have gladly paid up front had I know, but after investing the time, I just wanted to get on with my day. Despite feeling misled on principle, I paid the US$0.99 for my file. Still reeling from the gross experience of a pushy deceptive business transaction, I thought I would log in to see if they had ADDITIONALLY snagged me into a subscription that I would never ever ever consent to. And indeed, there it was, next charge due in 7 days at an obscenely high price. Immediately cancelled. For unsuspecting users which you will see all over the internet reviewing this business, some people don't realise until much later that not only are they initially extorted, but if they give into the extortion to receive their one-time file, they then get charged AGAIN. PDF Guru, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Stay away from these con artists. Did a trial, then 2 months later they took 50 euro out of my account despite me never using the service as it couldn't do what I needed. I used a different pdf editor service which worked brilliantly. Refused to refund me despite explaining the situation.

Avoid because their main focus isn’t on the service and customers that want to use but rather on how to scan people with their free trial nonsense that doesn’t work anyway

Just when automatic subscription takes $50 for one month for the service you have never ended up using as the produced document a year ago was not good enough and you beg the customer care to refund your hard earned money as you’re single mother and pregnant and they just say no because of a refund policy.

This is a scam. You use a service with a .99 cent fee and a week later you are charged $49! Beware of this company.

This is unacceptable and feels like a scam. Companies like this should focus on creating a service worth the money instead of exploiting customers with unfair practices. Save yourself the frustration and look for a more honest alternative.

I strongly advise against using this service. They operate on an abusive subscription model. I canceled my subscription after paying the initial 1 euro, but they still debited 50 euros from my account without authorization. When I reached out for a refund, they refused to return my money, hiding behind their so-called "policy."

This is an example of the worst type of scam. Without conscience they steal your money. Beware and avoid.

Scam, bad intention with hidden information to make us pay more for the service / subscription; but the client support worked pretty well as the lady was very quick on answering.

Zero pros, nothing to add here as the service did not work at all. The support was great and fast tho. The lady U exchanged email were giving me quick answers even tho an agreement was difficult.

I requested one single service for 0,99 cents, for one doc conversion. They debited me. 7 days later I got debited 49 euros for a month subscription which i never agreed to. When I saw the debit, I send them an email, the lady said it was written in the screen, I said no, I was paying for one service. She said that I probably received an email before these 7 days "trial", ( explaining again that I did not subscribe for a trial, but for a single service of 0 99cents); I checked my email and no, never received any any email with the information. It's A TOTAL SCAM; the lady said the subscription through the site is non refundable, I never asked for a subscription. So, they debited 0 99 plus 49e euros from me. Avoid, scam. And my document did not work the way I wanted either.

Very expensive, useless tool. You will not receive an email notification about your trial period ending so manually keep track of that.

Unethical. They tie you into a subscription that they don't inform you about upfront and then hide behind bogus terms and conditions to avoid giving you a refund. So many people have complained about this practice and yet they continue to operate in this manner....If there was an option for 0 stars, I would give them that. This company is not sincere or serious about providing a good service, they just want scam people out of their money.

I managed to edit a PDF document.

The value of €49.99 was charged, a subscription that I neither needed nor wanted was charged, I contacted the company to request a refund and they claim that they do not make refunds in anyway.

Give people’s money back! It’s just disgusting the way you cheat on the customers.

The form was easy to find and use. The company is a SCAM.

They offered a free trial, a monthly membership, or a one time use fee of 1.99. I chose the one time use fee. I paid the$1.99. A week later I was charged $49.99. When I inquired about the fee they said I didn't cancel my subscription. I didn't take the fee trial or the monthly subscription. I now have to go through my bank for fraud charges. It could have been a great service. It's a shame they are dishonest. BEWARE! IT'S A SCAM.

I initially got charged a very small fee which was ok for trying it out. But nowhere did it warm me that it will then start charging a $50 monthly membership.

Nothing. It didn't really work for my need. When I download the edited file, I always got the original instead, so was useless.

Didn't work, and also attempted a $49 charge the following month, which luckily my credit card company flagged as fraud.
