This is a scam. I strongly advise all users not to use this software because it is only a scam. This software was not good!

Very bad experience with this PDF editor tool because they do not provide support properly and if any can cancel the subscription, they do not refund money.

PDF GURU are a bunch of scammers ! Do not sign up for the trial. Instead they sign you up for a subscription you do not want then con you out of one month’s subscription fee £49.99 GBP when you try to cancel. The way they operate is ILLEGAL in the UK. Shame on you !!!

NONE AVOID. There are absolutely no pro’s to signing up for the trial it’s a CON to extort money !!!

Horrible. I will be advising everyone I know NOT to try this as it’s like throwing money into the trash.

Nothing. It didn’t work at all. I tried to use it and it would not convert anything into a pdf. Waste of time and money

Everything. I tried the $1.99 week trial and could not get it to work at all. I requested it be cancelled as it was useless and 7 days later I got charged $49.99 regardless. I requested a refund as soon as I got the notification that they had charged my account and got a message back refusing and instead offering me a lifetime membership. Absurd!!!! I didn’t even get any use out of the week trial, and now I’ve been charged for a month that I won’t get to use cause it DOESN’T WORK!

Absolutely nothing positive. It's a fraud , false advertising, not much use of this software. Fraud.

Fraud. Agreed price was $0.99 per one time use. Ended paying 60+ bucks.

However, the subscription did not appear under my Subscription on Apple so I had no idea about it.
So be very careful on this one time payment and read carefully because they are stating this thing that automatically they will charge the account monthly on a fake subscription basically.

Please avoid this company as it is totally scam. You pay for a one time use which I didn’t mind at all and I thought it’s a cool think but after that they automatically charged me 49,99€ out of nowhere based on a subscription I never agreed or intended to apply for.

I lost money on this stupid app. Do not do it. Not worth it. They clearly state the will not issue a refund if you are not aware of the price after the introductory offer and want your money back.

It was fast and easy to use, and it was really simple to convert from pdf to text. So, I liked it because I needed something that was quick and got my word document sent over fast.

After the $7.99 introductory offer, I was charged $49.99 on the 6th day of usage. It is a scam.

Annoyed by the lack of customer service and the scam of the charge to my account. False advertising.

Initially I wanted to use it to convert images from pdf to jpg. I did input and it wouldn’t convert the images in the way I needed.

I signed up for the initial price that seemed like a one time price. However I soon realized that the website couldn’t help me with what I needed to be done. I was then surprised when there was a 49.99 charge on my account. I emailed them and they refused to refund my money. Any company that has customer service would never refuse to refund a customer that was not satisfied with product.

Zero customer service, because of lack information I lost many and company claims that I was aware of regarding charge which is totally BS. I am not he first time purchasing something and I have read all information what they shared and there was no information that it is 6 months subscription.

Company mentioned false information upon purchasing package and they do not want to take any responsibility for the occurred situation, I lost 209 usd for the BS subscription and I am not happy with company replies

Extremely unsatisfactory experience. Customer service is unhelpful. There is no willingness to try to find a satisfactory resolution of a complaint.

It did the job of converting the file, but you can't see the cost until you have gone through the trouble of uploading etc and provided your email address.

Very misleading advertising about pricing. I paid for a 7 day trial then woke up this morning to discover I had been subscribed for a monthly fee of $49.99 USD (more than $70 CAD). Customer service claims a billing notification was sent, but I received no such email. There was no willingness to find solution. Terrible customer service. This is a money grab.

DO NOT USE this site, as there are so many victims being conned by this website.

They advertised a $0.99 one-off PDF conversion service; when you pay for it, they will get hold of your credit card details. At this stage you will think you are only paying for $0.99 and this is an one off service.

However, 7 days later, they will not email or notify you, but they will process a credit card transaction out of your credit card for USD 49.99. There is no warning or email notification. (They say it could be an email in the spam but NO email at all after I checked)

When you email their customer service for a refund, the will not do a refund, and you will be out of the pocket for USD 49.99 for nothing. Their service was pretty average, the one-off PDF conversation I bought does not work as it advertised.

I recently experienced a concerning issue with a company where I signed up for a supposed one-time payment of $0.99, only to discover that they had charged $49.99 to my account without my explicit authorization. Despite the company claiming that I had agreed to an auto-payment arrangement, I can confirm that this was not the case. Subsequently, I promptly notified PayPal of the unauthorized transaction and requested their assistance in securing a refund. I also took the step of canceling my account with the company and reached out to them via email to request a prompt refund. Following this, PayPal facilitated the retrieval of the funds. In light of this experience, I advise exercising caution and maintaining distance from this company. Thank you. ❌❌❌❌❌

Overall I am not satisfied, I made a complaint through my bank to try to get my money back, although I am not sure how it would go.

I must admit the software is not bad, quite intuitive, but unfortunately all the pros are being devaluated by the fact it was a scam.

I purchased 0.99 EUR subscription and clicked right away, that I am not willing to keep it active, then I was charged 49.99EUR twice until I realized I am losing money.

Awful, they promised to stop taking payments but continued after I cancelled my subscription. They won't refund my money. When you call customer service you have to go through 5 sets of questions before you get a person. They lied to me throughout the whole issue.

The software did convert my PDF to a JPEG as requested. That is the only positive thing I can say about the experience.

I paid $1.99 to convert a single word file to a JPEG. Then I started getting monthly charges of $49.99 and was told they would cancel the subscription and refund one of three monthly charges. I checked my bank account today and they had taken $49.99 again! I am working with my bank to block any further charges and also to get my $150.00 back. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!

Bunch of thieves... nothing clear about their charges... bunch of liars... they claim a good service... reality is way far from that... they suck people's money and that's their goal... when I tried to download the merged PDF file, it failed maybe 10 times before succeeding finally... what a scammy website!

Immoral scum. Offers a simple service for a dollar but secretly sets you up for a monthly $50 fee. Just opt for one of the many other services that can do the exact same thing minus the nefarious tactics.

The service makes it easy to manipulate pdf documents, which I needed to do for an important application. The service was simple to use and intuitive.

Like most gurus, this guru values money more than integrity. Making a competitive product is hard, so they resort to using deception to get people on their subscription service. Shame on them.

Because they stole my money, I don't like them at all. If someone is the robber it is hard to find the pros.

They charge 0,99eur for the service and after they get your CC data, they will charge 49,00Eur.

Awful. The worst thing is the time you waste complaining to them. They do eventually admit that they should have taken your money, but the you have to go through the same time consuming process next month. It's a nightmare.

The software works OK and does reduce the size of a typical pdf more than Adobe Acrobat Compression.

It is a total scam - they just take money from you account for no reason. You agree to pay £1.99 for a single pdf compression and the next thing you know you have £49.99 taken from your account every month. So you complain and they admit they are in the wrong, but the next month it starts all over again. Stay well clear!

Worst application on the internet they will steal your money legally, people like this should not be allowed on the internet.

No pros for this application they stole $79 from me with there 1 euros trial…. it's a shame to do this to students.

Being a student and getting scammed for $70 is pretty rough.
