It would be great if we good get more features like use of Sonetel app in iPhone to receive incoming calls.

So far it seems like a great service for the price! 4 stars instead of 5 only because it's still pretty new to me.

I'm using the Standard plan; everything is working fine and as outlined so far. I wasn't 100% clear at first about how the pre-paid account balance worked, but support has been prompt and thorough in clearing that up.

So far, I haven't encountered any cons worth mentioning.

Sonetel truly EXCEEDED my expectations by leaps and bounds! We are utilizing it for a singular line but I would hazard to guess that this would work beautifully for a business needing international lines!

I reached out to them to see when a number would be available for Japan, my son just got a job there and needed a local number. They jumped through many hoops to get him taken care of. I cannot say enough good things about the customer service received from Shazia, Amit, and Vikas! They were Patient, Kind, and Persevered to get him a number!

With good support able to use this services for our incoming calls from our clients. Pricing is pretty good.

Very Good Support, easily port Sonetel number on our number for call forwarding. Services are great and also Voicemails.

Need to improve on website for payment processes and better documentation on APIS.

If you are looking for a service that allows phone calls, web chat ( and probably more when you see this - they seem to be adding features constantly), then give it a try.
There is monthly, yearly and credit options for most features, and free as well, so.... Try it :)

We are not power users for this service, but what we use works like a charm (mostly phone options, don't use website options currently)

This was the 2nd time I became client. The company lasts. The 1st time I become client was in 2015. Now I needed a European number and it was always there when I needed. And best of all: Affordable and reliable phone, and perfect customer service...

The service is excellent! Worldwide numbers available! You simply choose and test immediately and its ready to use.

The only drawback this time was that the Portugal phone I needed does not receive SMS.

There are tons of other features that Sonetel offer that I don't use, but I can speak about the call forwarding feature. It's super easy to set up and really easy to change numbers. So if you're travelling and changing local sims often you can just have one number in your home country that will forward to your new SIM cards. Support is also very helpful when I've needed it.

I can be anywhere in the world and people can contact me using a local number. It's really easy to set up, and very cheap.

Recommended for everyone, especially small nonprofits or startups on a tight budget. Nice selection of numbers to choose from too.

It took me a while to find Sonetel. I first tried Avoxi, Zadarma, TextNow, Hushed, Second Phone, Aircall, Cybtel, MightyCall, and Bria. They were all expensive or had awful sound quality. I had almost given up when I found Sonetel. The interface is clean and fairly intuitive. There's a free option for those wanting chat integration with their website, very competitive rates for DID number reservation ($2/month), and helpful customer service.

Initial SMS verification didn't work and needed customer support to activate the account. Needed two $10 PayPal payments initially (not sure why the account drained so quickly in the first setup day). Mobile app is only useful for those on the premium plan.

Easy set-up experience for international numbers. Your line gets activated quickly. Customer support is ready to help you with the verification process to get your international line up and running.

Customer support is really prompt at responding to your inquiries. They help you with your needs and respond a few minutes to a few hours.

Price for the line is close to what other competitors offer. However, calls per minute are somewhat pricy. It would be nice if they offered free calls when they are done over the internet. No SMS option but this could be because of lack of support from certain countries using a virtual number.
