Again, since this process is something I only need to complete once yearly, I need the consistency of not having to 're-learn' usage. Effective and Efficient is what I look for in a product.

Ease of use and consistency of process. I do not have time to constantly 're-learn' how to use a product, especially one so crucial to required business functions. Thank you for keeping this simple!

I have not found any cons to using this product. I need efficiency and effectiveness in the products for my business purposes. I do not use products more than once if they prove to be too complex, hard to administer, difficult to access or apply. Time is of the essence for me as an entrepreneur running my own business as the primary person in charge.
Time = money and I appreciate products that take this into consideration.

As a freelance accountant I use this app for several entities each year.

Over the years the step-by-step process has become easier, with better explanation on what the app is expecting from the user.

overall, it is a great tool for vendor management verification and it helps with 1099 reporting as the goal is to get as little IRS letters during tax season about not matching EIN records

Does a really good job of verifying EIN and SSN for vendor management. Giving it a 70% threshold helps with spelling and or naming conventions to verify if there is a match with IRS records.

Whenever the IRS portal/verification system is down, you are the mercy of the IRS when this gets fixed. From time to time, the portal will hang as if loading when you hit submit, but it just sits there and it does not load the request. You will need to close and log back in and resubmit the request.

I wish there was an integration from other software into this service, however I will be using again

Easy, simple, trustworthy. I don't have to worry about my information after using the product. If there are any mistakes I make they are always on top of things for me.

The Products are simple to us and the instructions are in great layman terms which is good for a small business person and not tech savvy person!

I am not satisfied with the updated print format. The print is extremely small and difficult to read. Additionally, the system can be very unreliable and tends to go down during critical times, which creates unnecessary delays and frustration.

Good service that we have been using for 10+ years. It allows us to quickly find accounts with bad TINs so we can correct the numbers before our 1099s go out. Our TIN numbers are accurate and we have never had a fine because of wrong numbers.

You can upload a file to have a large number of TINs checked at one time. We use this feature during 1099 season. We get a detailed report back quickly (usually in a few hours). The report tells us if any TIN has an error and what the error is. It is easy to upload the file. You can also check TINs one at a time, which we use when onboarding.

EZ File really did make it easy to file 1099 tax forms for the independent contractors at my business.

Some screens seem redundant. Wish there was a way to do more on one page instead of going back to another one.

I file and report 1099s for an Irrevocable Trust and 2 non-profit organizations. So easy to upload data to the IRS and to the states of MN and WI.

The application was intuitive and easy to use. From entering data, saving, editing, printing and the final step reporting to the Regulatory Agencies primary the IRS and to the Revenue Dept for multiple states.

Hmmm, if this survey arrived in March, I may have had some comments, but right now, nothing stands out as being difficult or time consuming to resolve. I had not problems and everything went smoothy and reporting was completed well in advance of the deadlines.
