Splitting and merging works well
Date: Dec 04 2025SummaryI split a textbook into chapter PDFs, then combined the selected sections into a study pack. Everything worked as it should, though a quick page count preview would have reassured me that all was well.
PositiveThe splitting and merging of PDF sections were extremely fast and accurate, maintaining formatting and text clarity. Its interface is very easy to follow.
NegativeCould use a small visual indicator for total pages selected when splitting; helps prevent accidental omission of pages in large files.

Compressing large reports
Date: Oct 20 2025SummaryI regularly have to email large quarterly reports to customers and ZenDocs compressed them flawlessly. No blur, no delay, just smaller files that email servers will actually take. The interface is lean and fast, so it's now my first choice for rapid document sending.
PositiveThe compress pdf option minimized file sizes without compromising quality. Uploads complete quickly and all remains clear and readable.
NegativeInterface could use a darker theme for long hours of use. That’s the only small tweak I’d suggest.

Reliable to archive
Date: Nov 18 2025SummaryI deal with sensitive client information, and therefore security is important. ZenDocs gives me an easy way to add a layer of protection to documents without necessarily having to invest in expensive software. It is surely a part of my monthly file management routine now.
PositiveFor me, it is essential to be able to protect sensitive PDFs with a password. I use it for financial statements that I archive in the cloud afterwards. The encryption appears to be strong, and password protection is set easily in an instant.
NegativeMore than that, I would like to set different permissions instead of having one single master password to unlock anything; for instance, allowing printing but not editing. That would provide more granular control on sharing protected documents.

Useful conversion but clean-up required
Date: Dec 02 2025SummaryI converted the brochure pages to PNGs for a quick social post and found the resolution options solid. There was a tiny layout shift on a few pages that required manual correction-so a larger preview step before the final export would have avoided a follow-up edit. Functionally strong; small preview enhancement suggested.
PositiveConverting PDFs to images created clean PNGs suitable for sharing; however, when the source had a lot of small embedded fonts, some lines shifted slightly in a few exports. Most files handled well with this tool and gave clear quality settings.
NegativeA preview of converted pages with zoom would avoid surprises when fonts or line breaks shift; this is a mild addition that reduces last-minute fixes for sensitive documents.

PositiveMerge did a good job in handling big PPTX files without lag and it maintained formatting; batch files are handled well, too.
NegativeThere's a slight delay when merging more than five files.

Clear annotate and highlight tools
Date: Nov 28 2025SummaryI annotated a draft contract for the legal team, and the highlights plus comments made the suggested edits easy to review. Exporting the annotated copy preserved highlights for reviewers who preferred a single file. A set of keyboard shortcuts would make repeat annotation faster, but current tools are excellent for collaborative editing.
PositiveThe annotate PDF feature features precise highlighting, sticky notes, and drawing tools, making the feedback clear and easy to follow. Annotations remained visible in exported copies and could be toggled for printing.
NegativeI'd appreciate having a quick keyboard shortcut map for heavy annotators to speed up common actions like highlight, strike-through, and creation of comments. It is a small request for power-user improvements.

Absolute scam
Date: Dec 22 2025SummaryVery very very bad and disappointing. I want my money back. Stupid customer service only keeps asking for my bank accounts which they already have since they took my money
PositiveNothing good about Zendocs. They let you pay 0,99 cents but then charge you 24,99 for a subscription
NegativeAbsolute scam. No where it says you automatically agree to a monthly’s subscription by paying 0,99 cents. Internet is full of bad reviews. Shame on you for scamming people this way. Customer service is fake and keeps asking for the same information over and over again.

Decent PDF editor
Date: Oct 15 2025SummaryAttempted editing a scanned worksheet and succeeded, but it took a minute to locate the correct button. A simple tip for new users would be appreciated.
PositiveEditing was good, although the interface could be made clearer in places. A few labels and icons weren't made clear immediately, although generally everything worked neatly once I'd got familiar with it.
NegativeNew users could perhaps be helped faster by a small tutorial popup explaining key features straight away.

Date: Dec 19 2025SummaryI had to protect some sensitive financial reports before sharing them. ZenDocs easily let me password-protect PDFs and distribute them safely. The process was easy and reliable.
PositiveSetting the passwords was easy. The encryption was reliable and protected multiple documents at once.
NegativeAdd a function for suggestions to generate strong passwords.

This made textbook reading easier.
Date: Nov 20 2025SummaryIt has totally revolutionized the way I organize my study materials; instead of being stuck with some monolithic PDFs, I can curate exactly what I need. Simple but powerful tools have made my study sessions so much more efficient.
PositiveI love the split and merge functions of this software. I can take a huge textbook PDF, split out only the chapters that I need for my class, and combine them with my own notes to make one custom study guide. It is very empowering.
NegativeThe only minor gripe I have is that the page load times are a couple of seconds longer after uploading a very large file, such as a 300-page textbook. It isn't a deal-breaker, per se, but it has been noticed.

Date: Oct 22 2025SummaryI've tidied up dirty old business reports with ZenDocs. Removing pages was really easy, and the outcome was clean and ready for storage.
PositiveThe delete pages feature is a gem. It's simple to get rid of unnecessary pages and save a cleaner, more compact PDF version.
Negativeit could benefit from a smoother and more precise preview zoom while editing pages

Accurate OCR, but little hiccups.
Date: Nov 27 2025SummaryI scanned a stack of meeting handouts and ran OCR to make them searchable. For typed pages, the results were excellent, and it significantly expedited searching. Some handwritten annotations weren't captured reliably, which made a quick manual check necessary. Overall, a strong OCR tool for printed material with a small caveat about handwriting capture.
PositiveIn general, it accurately identified printed text and converted it to a searchable PDF quickly. Multi-page OCR batches worked well and preserved document structure.
NegativeHandwritten notes were less consistent-a gentle reminder about handwriting limits upfront would be useful. Also, a preview step for OCR results before finalizing would reduce the occasional small text errors.

Efficient for legal documents
Date: Nov 25 2025SummaryI had to file a motion with over a dozen exhibits. I used ZenDocs to merge them all, and then compress the final file to meet the upload limit of the portal. That was a really smooth process; it saved me from having to go to the office to use the high-end scanner and software.
PositiveThe capability of securely handling multi-page legal exhibits and combining them into one PDF is invaluable.
NegativeInitial upload for a very large set of documents may take a minute or two, so you need to be a little patient.

Quick convert to multiple formats
Date: Dec 08 2025SummaryI converted several financial reports in Excel, which could then be analyzed. Most of the formatting remained intact, making data extraction quick. Some tables required light tweaking, but overall, it saved hours in the conversion workflow compared to manual entry.
PositivePDF conversion to Word, Excel, and images was reliable, with mostly retained formatting; batch conversions saved a considerable amount of time.
NegativeThe most complex tables did need minor readjustments after conversion, but a small preview function would have helped double-check the accuracy before export.
