Cvent has become a core part of how I deliver events. Once you understand the system, it’s incredibly powerful. The flexibility in registration builds, custom logic and integrations lets you run even complex events smoothly. You can automate a lot of repetitive work that would normally take hours, and the reporting tools keep everyone aligned without extra effort. The platform is stable, reliable and keeps improving with updates that actually make a difference.

Some areas of the platform can feel slow to work through, especially when you’re building complex events with many layers of logic. Certain features are powerful but not always intuitive, so the learning curve can be steep for new users. Occasionally you run into limitations that require workarounds, which adds extra time. The system is strong overall, but you do need patience and experience to get the most out of it.

Event Management platform helps us to host events of any size and various meeting types and formats (Face-to-face, Virtual, Hybrid).
I especially like the webinar functionality with communication features that enable us for more in-depth attendee networking than regular webinar software.
And, Cvent Event Management is known for its extensive and customizable reporting capabilities, allowing them to access the data they need for informed decision-making.

Sometimes it seems like there are too many steps to achieve one thing.
Sometimes we face issues like it takes additional time and effort required for data entry when trying to import data.
The transition between classic and flex events was a little difficult to adopt when managing an event.

Cvent provides robust data management support and also provides good customer support. and we can get report and insights here easily.

It takes time to learn all features in Cvent the user interface can be more understandable and few integration challenges.

Cvent Event Management has saved me time as everything is so quick to set up instead of having to set things up manually, it has halved the time is used to take me to set up registration. It’s saving me and my clients money. Not having to pay third parties has also been useful due to not having to pay a % to the third party suppliers.

Price, unless you purchase license and registration when they are on sale it’s a little expensive.

I've been a Cvent user for over five years now with three different employers. However much of a learning curve it has, I missed it when I was, briefly, not using it anymore!

Cvent can do everything, from your Call for Papers to on-site badge printing, with its strengths being a very thorough registration and emailing system. I've also used it for diagramming, wrangling exhibitors and speakers, and hosting virtual or hybrid events.

At this point, first diving into Cvent can get a bit overwhelming if you start with a complex event, due to all the features being there and not necessarily knowing where to find what.

Cvent support is by far the best support that I have ever had! The software is seamless and user-friendly. The features enhance productivity and efficiency!

Cvent has exceptional customer support!!!! Cvent provides a seamless registration - register online, selecting sessions, make payments, etc. The event app provides conference info, attendee schedules, networking opportunities and interactive features. The reporting tools allows us to track attendee engagement and much more to make our conferences better in the future.

There are no downsides to using Cvent, however, there is a learning curve. The cost is higher than other options but Cvent is by far the most robust, comprehensive platform!

There are no dislikes that I have encountered so far.

Overall, I cannot imagine what my day-to-day life would look like without the use of Cvent. It helps enormously to have everything in one spot and accessible by anyone working on the event.

Cvent has everything integrated into one platform essentially, which helps in all aspects of event management. From Supplier RFP's to On-site support, Cvent is a great product for anyone looking to streamline their events.

The new reporting features have been a bit clunky for the past few years, but they are finally implementing a custom report feature again. Also, if the Cvent platform is undergoing maintenance, or has any issues, you will not be able to access anything.

However, its complexity and cost may not be suitable for all organizations, and users should carefully evaluate their needs and resources before investing in the platform.

Overall the product is a great tool and value is there. I would recommend to anyone to give Cvent a try. They have a lot of products for what us event planners need to be successful!

I love how simple the program is to use but have a lot of elements to them, a lot of other programs are out there and "Simple" but don't really do much. This allows me to keep better track of my event data and work!

While the program is simple, occasionally it is hard to find what I need to do. However, Cvent recently released a Search Bar update and this has helped tremendously!

Overall the platform is reliable and solves majority of our needs but could use some more customization to allow us to complete all of our needs.

I like to compatibility of several products and how each feature speaks to each other. Their support and education is also quite extensive.

Some products are released before they are ready and are missing features that are needed.

Overall, I enjoy using Cvent compared to other event planning platforms. It feels like I can create an event all in one space without having to jump around resources.

Using the Suppliers/Vendor Sourcing, Website Building, and Creating the Registration all in one place made everything so easy for me to create events. When I had an issue, the Live Chat Cvent Community was able to help with no problems. Also, the reporting data was very useful post-event so we could view our revenue and attendee list.

It would most likely be the limitations to what we can customize. For example, the website build widgets and the email creations.

Overall, Cvent is an excellent platform for event management. It allows you to build websites, manage registration, communicate to attendees and more!

I love that Cvent gives me a holistic view of my events, and helps me to have everything in one place.

Some of the integrations (SF) are lacking and not as intuitive as they could be.

I think if you are looking for an advancing product to manage all of your event needs, this is the product for you.

It is an easy product to use. I love learning new things as they continue to improve it. It allows a lot of integration features.

Some features get overlooked when it comes to updating.

Working with Cvent has been a pleasure! Learning the platform was interesting, and it really helped the team evolved with technology.

The ease of the workflow on Cvent is awesome. Everything is either integrated or automatically pushed, so our work has greatly benefitted from this.

Some features are not perfectly tailored for incentives events, so we have developed a few work-around.

Cvent is amazing for Event Management and registration. I have used event for the past five years and do not know how I managed without it. It takes away a lot of the manual tasks and is able to hold all my data into one system. I do wish there was a little more custom features as Cvent is very much set up in just one way, but after you figure out those little nitpicky things it’s great.

The best thing is that it takes a lot of the manual work of tracking RSVPs, Personal Information, attendance at sessions out of event registration. If I didn’t have cvent I would have to hire a new staff member just to do registration.

It is pricey and not as custom as I wished it could be especially with the reporting.

It is a good tool for event management and has external integration capabilities so it can connect with multiple sources.

Multiple features like attendee management, registrations, rfps, reports for analytical solutions and it has integrations too!!

The site is slower, and the loading time is a bit longer.

Overall I'd recommend Cvent Event Management for conferences! The level of customer support is truly unmatched.

I use Cvent daily and it covers nearly all of our event management needs. The greatest aspect is their customer support.

There are so many features that sometimes things are hard to find or a bit clunky.

Overall, Cvent is innovative and top of its class in event management software. There are obviously always improvements, but we can always rest assured that Cvent will be reliable and that any bugs that they experience are escalated quickly.

Cvent Event Management is user friendly both for the user and for the attendee. They are constantly making improvements and taking suggestions on improvements.

I would say that FLEX has some limitations in the build process that I would love fixed. Example: There used to be a way in Cvent registration to be able to have the guest of the primary attendee copy their flight details on the travel page and that is no longer an option.
