    The more you use Cvent the more you find helpful tools that make using the system that much better. The help desk & chat features are easy to use when you need them.

    I use Cvent on a daily basis for multiple clients. What I like best is that I can configure each site to what my clients specific needs are, using their branded guidelines, and attendee diversity. Every event we do is unique, we have events that are a basic RSVP site, to complex builds that need a great deal more of attention. I can customize our sites easily with stored themes & images, and access the travel widgets and pre-set contact information, all of which make my job that much easier.

    I'm still getting used the the mobile app/attendee hub feature. I miss being able to assign attendees to groups like we did in the previous programming system.

    I've used Cvent for over 8 years and watched it become more user-friendly, develop a better UI for registrants, quickly and efficiently embrace the need for virtual and hybrid events during the pandemic and create a comprehensive and solid product, and strengthen their training and user networking community. Though I've looked at other products over the years, I've never felt like it was worth making a change to give up the capabilities and data Cvent's products offer.

    Cvent is designed for the entire lifecycle of event management. The software has features and modules to cover nearly any scenario you need to manage with integrated data flow, is well-supported, and regularly updated with new features, many developed from user input.

    Negative

    Because of its flexibility and capabilities, it can take some time to become really fluent in the software. It's also not the cheapest solution; though the core software is robust, to build a full end-to-end solution (with abstract submission, onsite badge printing, an event app, etc.) necessitates the purchase of add-on modules.

    I really love that Cvent offers a one-stop-shop solution for all of your event planning. The introduction of the attendee hub has really caught my attention as the keyholder for our guidebook app and seeing the disconnect of pushing attendees to use that app has been troublesome. But after attending CventConnect and learning more about attendee hub I see the true value of how this will bring our attendee engagement and experience to another level.

    I stumbled a lot with learning how to customize our themes and incorporate our branding into the website builder. I think more of a step-by-step demo of how to use and best practices is needed from the initial introduction of Cvent.

    One Stop Shop for Organizing Your Event

    Overall we couldn't run our events without the platform. The ability to keep all our data in one central place and not manage everything through excel sheets that are more prone to human error and GDPR issues is amazing.

    It's a great tool for us to manage our events. It helps us keep things organized, our data streamlined. We can host multiple events at the same time and the ability to create report portals for stakeholders saves a lot of time of us manually doing things. Cloning similar events also saves so much creation time to launch smaller similar events quickly.

    The system operates how it does and there's no room for special needs. Some of the features are clunky or harder to get to than they should be. The websites could use a bit better functionality to look nicer, anything 'nice' you'd want requires hiring their designers as you can't do it yourself.

    We use Cvent Event Management from the beginning of the event to the end and everything in between. We mainly use the travel widget to collect flight information and then report out to air agents. We also, use the PNR matching to match flight itinerary to attendee records. We use Cvent daily for the reporting that we can provide our clients.

    The pros about Cvent Event Management:
    The reporting from Cvent is the best feature of Cvent. I am able to provide data back to the client in easy to read formatting and able to send multiple reports so all data is not on one report. My company has really benefited from Access Portal, which allows us to give clients access to the reports so they can run at their l leisure.

    The cons for Cvent Event Management:
    The one con I have with Cvent Event Management is with the travel widget, the date of birth and the gender field are attached together and I am not able to separate the two fields.

My organization utilizes its services to support in-person conferences and webinars throughout the calendar year. There are many options for building out the registration, developing the event's website and sending event-related emails to invitees and registrants.

    The diversity of Cvent's options can sometimes be a downfall, as there are some features my organization doesn't utilize. The valuable functions can get lost in the menus full of other options.     You get what you pay for. I have used less expensive products for events and the amount of frustration was not worth the savings. Cvent's platform has saved me time by allowing me to set-up event templates so websites remain consistent while providing updated information. The registration platform integrates well into CrowdCompass so I'm not duplicating effort building the event app. Utilizing the event app saved me 23,000USD on a 150 person event as it eliminated printing costs and the labor needed to assemble event binders (and update the binders with updated printouts). Now anytime an update is made to a presentation, it can immediately be updated in the app so attendees have the most accurate information. In addition, attendees can network, see any room changes, get alerts, and save items for easy access, without the bulk. Sensitive company information isn't left behind in meeting rooms.

    -Easy to use - trainings are available, but most people can be up-and-running without too much training
    -Planner feedback is the focus of updates and new product options
    -Platform integrates well making it easy to set-up mobile app by utilizing Cvent's registration platform; no need to reinvent the wheel
    -Reporting is live and key stakeholders can receive automated emails and/or links to view reports on-demand
    -Templates and duplicating events (especially with data tags) saves so much time and reduces errors

    -There are less expensive options with other companies (but they tend to be less robust and it's harder to get in touch with customer service)

From the easy to use, user-friendly backend tools to create the registration sites (overview, bios, speakers, sessions, agenda or any additional pages you might need, to the full integrations when you're using AttendeeHub and/or OnArrival, this makes the perfect tool to use and create efficiencies.     The sales team is often trying to pitch new products. While that can certainly be helpful at times, I am comfortable with my use of the system and would prefer to reach out to learn more, rather than to receive monthly outreach from their team.
