The more you use Cvent the more you find helpful tools that make using the system that much better. The help desk & chat features are easy to use when you need them.

I use Cvent on a daily basis for multiple clients. What I like best is that I can configure each site to what my clients specific needs are, using their branded guidelines, and attendee diversity. Every event we do is unique, we have events that are a basic RSVP site, to complex builds that need a great deal more of attention. I can customize our sites easily with stored themes & images, and access the travel widgets and pre-set contact information, all of which make my job that much easier.

I'm still getting used the the mobile app/attendee hub feature. I miss being able to assign attendees to groups like we did in the previous programming system.

I've used Cvent for over 8 years and watched it become more user-friendly, develop a better UI for registrants, quickly and efficiently embrace the need for virtual and hybrid events during the pandemic and create a comprehensive and solid product, and strengthen their training and user networking community. Though I've looked at other products over the years, I've never felt like it was worth making a change to give up the capabilities and data Cvent's products offer.

Cvent is designed for the entire lifecycle of event management. The software has features and modules to cover nearly any scenario you need to manage with integrated data flow, is well-supported, and regularly updated with new features, many developed from user input.

Because of its flexibility and capabilities, it can take some time to become really fluent in the software. It's also not the cheapest solution; though the core software is robust, to build a full end-to-end solution (with abstract submission, onsite badge printing, an event app, etc.) necessitates the purchase of add-on modules.

I’ve grown to appreciate the true value and unlimited amount of tools that Cvent offers. It is truly a one-stop-shop for your event and marketing efforts.

I really love that Cvent offers a one-stop-shop solution for all of your event planning. The introduction of the attendee hub has really caught my attention as the keyholder for our guidebook app and seeing the disconnect of pushing attendees to use that app has been troublesome. But after attending CventConnect and learning more about attendee hub I see the true value of how this will bring our attendee engagement and experience to another level.

I stumbled a lot with learning how to customize our themes and incorporate our branding into the website builder. I think more of a step-by-step demo of how to use and best practices is needed from the initial introduction of Cvent.

My overall experience with Cvent has been positive. The customer service team is top notch! Anytime we were struggling to use a function someone would be available to help us and would get us back on track. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

Cvent's platform is very user friendly and makes planning an event much easier. I love that you can customize and brand everything however you need it for your event.

I haven't found anything in Cvent that I don't like.

Overall Cvent gives me a lot of useful tools to use throughout my event, to help plan my meetings and manage my delegates.

Easy to use throughout the stages of your event, Cvent has a solution for almost every part of planning and execution. Everything links together so your event can be seamless.

Some aspects are a little outdated, but these are constantly being improved. For instance the badge designer is very hard to use, but I know a new version has just recently been released.

I would recommend for planners who need a system to track and manage attendee registrations. There are a ton of other features Cvent offers too, like surveys and reporting.

I have been a Cvent customer for over 3 years. Working in meeting planning, Cvent has been a great tool for attendee registration and keeps us organized.

There can be hiccups with Cvent from time to time, sometimes locking you out of the site. While consistently getting better, there are still some features that need to be updated.

Enterprise event management including registration and budget consolidation is great. But not meeting consolidation.

Flexibility w/ new custom fields addition on the fly. Custom registration page setup. Centralized contact management. Mobile app.

API Management (all or none). Exposing secret data to downstream systems even if not required.

This product is probably best for large-scale events, but our smaller company loves using it for all of the features it offers. It saves us so much and keeps all our attendee and event data in one place.

-It is so nice to have all aspects of my event planning from beginning to end. I don't have to use different software for registration, marketing, event websites, event apps, sponsors, surveys, etc. They manage it all
-Easy to switch between in-person, virtual, and hybrid if needed
-The event app is the best I've seen with event management companies and it is very easy to customize

-Adding features can be very expensive
-It can take a while to hear back from support on issues

Overall my experience with Cvent is positive - I use it everyday and it allows us to manage events well for our clients.

Great for event registration, collecting travel details and requests. sending communications to attendees, reporting on data collected, managing guest/group registrations.

Customer service agents often cannot resolve issues, or if they can it takes a very long time to do so. Cvent is also not receptive to specific feedback because it has to cater to such a large customer base.

Overall we couldn't run our events without the platform. The ability to keep all our data in one central place and not manage everything through excel sheets that are more prone to human error and GDPR issues is amazing.

It's a great tool for us to manage our events. It helps us keep things organized, our data streamlined. We can host multiple events at the same time and the ability to create report portals for stakeholders saves a lot of time of us manually doing things. Cloning similar events also saves so much creation time to launch smaller similar events quickly.

The system operates how it does and there's no room for special needs. Some of the features are clunky or harder to get to than they should be. The websites could use a bit better functionality to look nicer, anything 'nice' you'd want requires hiring their designers as you can't do it yourself.

We use Cvent Event Management from the beginning of the event to the end and everything in between. We mainly use the travel widget to collect flight information and then report out to air agents. We also, use the PNR matching to match flight itinerary to attendee records. We use Cvent daily for the reporting that we can provide our clients.

The pros about Cvent Event Management:
The reporting from Cvent is the best feature of Cvent. I am able to provide data back to the client in easy to read formatting and able to send multiple reports so all data is not on one report. My company has really benefited from Access Portal, which allows us to give clients access to the reports so they can run at their l leisure.

The cons for Cvent Event Management:
The one con I have with Cvent Event Management is with the travel widget, the date of birth and the gender field are attached together and I am not able to separate the two fields.

Cvent is an essential tool for management of our large conferences and occasional webinars. It is a daily resources to monitor the registration of our events and to communicate with potential and confirmed attendees.

Cvent is a robust platform with a lot of different options for event management of all kinds. My organization utilizes its services to support in-person conferences and webinars throughout the calendar year. There are many options for building out the registration, developing the event's website and sending event-related emails to invitees and registrants.

The diversity of Cvent's options can sometimes be a downfall, as there are some features my organization doesn't utilize. The valuable functions can get lost in the menus full of other options. Thankfully, I've worked with the platform for several years now, so I'm reasonably well-versed in what is helpful to me and what is not, but I think there can be a steep learning curve for more casual users.

The best product for the whole enterprise, marketing, and Strategic Meetings Management. The scalability and integrations are great! Overall, Cvent is the most comprehensive platform available offering the basics for registration and advanced options for CRM management and integrations.

The breadth of features and functionality address the needs of small - global organizations and events. I like that Cvent has brought the separate modules into one platform in the new Flex design. Cvent is continuously releasing product enhancements and new features.

Functionality changes without advance notification, explanation of the feature and/or documentation. There are many layers to each and options for configurations. It can be challenging to troubleshoot and know where to dig to resolve a technical issue.

Cvent Event Management is wonderful system that meets all our needs! While it is pricier than some competitors, it is far more comprehensive and certainly makes our team more efficient!

It is pricier than most systems, and it can sometimes be difficult to connect with administrators if you need support.

You get what you pay for. I have used less expensive products for events and the amount of frustration was not worth the savings. Cvent's platform has saved me time by allowing me to set-up event templates so websites remain consistent while providing updated information. The registration platform integrates well into CrowdCompass so I'm not duplicating effort building the event app. Utilizing the event app saved me 23,000USD on a 150 person event as it eliminated printing costs and the labor needed to assemble event binders (and update the binders with updated printouts). Now anytime an update is made to a presentation, it can immediately be updated in the app so attendees have the most accurate information. In addition, attendees can network, see any room changes, get alerts, and save items for easy access, without the bulk. Sensitive company information isn't left behind in meeting rooms.

-Easy to use - trainings are available, but most people can be up-and-running without too much training
-Planner feedback is the focus of updates and new product options
-Platform integrates well making it easy to set-up mobile app by utilizing Cvent's registration platform; no need to reinvent the wheel
-Reporting is live and key stakeholders can receive automated emails and/or links to view reports on-demand
-Templates and duplicating events (especially with data tags) saves so much time and reduces errors

-There are less expensive options with other companies (but they tend to be less robust and it's harder to get in touch with customer service)
-There tends to be turnover in positions as people move around the company, so at times you may not know who your support person is

I absolutely would recommend Cvent and I can't imagine doing events without it. It has made my job much easier and my events much more successful.

Registration is made so much easier. Website and app design is easy even for the tech challenged (like myself).

It does take time to learn how to utilize the product.

Cvent is a great tool to use for any and every event, when you need to create a registration site. From the easy to use, user-friendly backend tools to create the registration sites (overview, bios, speakers, sessions, agenda or any additional pages you might need, to the full integrations when you're using AttendeeHub and/or OnArrival, this makes the perfect tool to use and create efficiencies. Can't recommend enough to whomever need to create sessions.

Despite the user friendly and easy to use backend, it would be beneficial to have a more mobile responsive backend.

The Cvent Event Management platform is great and I would definitely recommend it to any other event professionals looking for a one-stop-shop for their program needs.

The Event Management platform is so intuitive and easy to use, unlike some competitor products. While available to assist, the Cvent team sets you up for success by training users how to use and manage the system on their own to create custom events, websites, marketing materials and registration forms.

The sales team is often trying to pitch new products. While that can certainly be helpful at times, I am comfortable with my use of the system and would prefer to reach out to learn more, rather than to receive monthly outreach from their team.
