This software solution is designed specifically for small businesses that need a reliable method to track the paid time off for both exempt and hourly staff. Each employee is allocated vacation, sick leave, and personal days, with TOTS ensuring accurate monitoring of these details for every individual. Workers have access to their time off history and can easily create and submit Time Off Request Forms. The application integrates smoothly with Microsoft Exchange Server and Outlook, providing maximum efficiency. Furthermore, users have the flexibility to tailor different absence categories and plans to meet their unique requirements while preserving historical data from past years. Employees can log into the system to request time off, including holidays and sick leave, and can print their Time Off Request Form directly. When connected to Outlook, these requests are automatically forwarded to the employee's supervisor for approval. Once the supervisor approves the request, the TOTS Administrator enters the approved time off into the system manually, ensuring that all records remain current and accurate. This holistic strategy not only simplifies the management process but also improves the lines of communication between employees and management regarding time off requests.
