    ClickUp has become such an instrumental part of our event planning process! It has reduced the need for the many check-in meetings we held in the past. We've increased our efficiency and transparency to projects/events so all team members can find everything relating to that specific item in one place. I love the ease of use and I still learn new capabilities I can utilize every week!

    Some features are lacking common organizational aspects, such as being unable to sort Docs into folders for a cleaner appearance or having subtasks inherit the filled in custom fields from the parent task. I hope to see these implemented in future software updates.

    I really do love using ClickUp, setting up dashboards, and showing how work is distributed really makes business smoother and more streamlined.

    The ability to customize the organization of our businesses with ClickUp is brilliant and the custom fields are a game changer. I've used at least five of the top business organization tools. ClickUp is the one we have stuck with. I really do enjoy getting things done. The ability to be able to create documents has made being productive faster as we don't need to keep relying on google its saved that extra step, which sounding small has made things simpler.

    If I was to try hard really to find any criticism at all. I would say that it's got a lot of features which I've felt has been a bit of a learning curve for me, however, really the ability to customize is really part of ClickUp benefits so I'm not sure that's really a downfall at all.

    Amazing way to keep on top of your tasks

    ClickUp does an amazing job providing you different ways to keep track of your different tasks. I love the way that there are different views depending on the type of list that you’re creating and the flexible status options available to allow you to keep track of projects in a way that makes sense to you. Our company uses it not only to help individuals stay on track, but also to manage the 10+ different campaigns we have running simultaneously. It’s also helpful that Click Up allows us to invite guests into our workspace when we’re collaborating with external groups. The dashboard feature is an amazing way to create reports and synthesize what’s happening with different tasks. I definitely recommend using Click Up to any organization or individual hoping to get their goals organized and push projects forward.

    Love the way that you can design and create your space in a way that works with your brain- there are different view options, lots of reporting tools, dashboard tools, unlimited lists and sprints you can create, etc. Also love the flexibility when it comes to choosing colors, statuses, and tags. Our company was able to create an automated campaign task creation that allows repetitive tasks to be auto assigned and set up, which has saved us a lot of time.

    Negative

    Three things that I wished worked better: 1) the chat feature, 2) trying to navigate through multiple lists & 3) finding tasks you’re connected with. I would love to be able to chat with other users and create spaces to chat about different projects. The built in chat feature doesn’t allow a lot of flexibility…it takes up a lot of space to not show many of the messages and you can’t really reply to a previous message higher up. 2) I often need to go back and forth between different lists as I remember different tasks I need to check on, get details from, create, etc. I wish there was a way to do that without completely navigating away from what you’re on and having to find it again. Maybe finding a way to open up a different list without closing the one you’re one. 3) I have spent a lot of time in Click Up and know where to look for things but a lot of our team hasn’t. They often miss tasks that they’re connected with. I wish there was a built in view where you can find all the tasks you’re working on, assigned to, a watcher on, etc. Notifications has it but it isn’t one that’s visually helpful in planning out and keeping tabs on your tasks. Dashboard allows you to create something similar but you have to be creative to design it in a way that’s helpful for each user and not everyone on the team is willing to play around with it. On a side note, it would also be helpful in dashboards if there was a way to filter comments assigned to me rather than just assigned comments

    ClickUp has been far and away the best task management app I've used. I've used it to implement a Getting Things Done (GTD) system for myself and it works flawlessly in that regard. The mobile app integrates seamlessly into the ways I use this tool: I typically add tasks the moment I think of them (so as to not forget), which is very easy to do from the mobile app. It's great to be able to see all of my tasks in different views depending on context. Overall the user experience (UX) of this app is just phenomenally designed.

    This was exactly what I was looking for to manage our small team as I was bringing on new team members. It has been great for me, easy for my team to learn, and I have even developed my onboarding materials all within CU to keep it in one easy to find location.

    I love how everything is very visible, it's easy to use, easy to learn and does what my small team (3 people) need to keep us on task. Part of our job is planning events and we have developed a great process for that, and can duplicate the task lists from previous years to start fresh each year.

    We also work on social media, so being able to easily submit a task from our email is huge for us in saving time!

    Since ClickUp has been working on improving the system there have been some glitches here and there. Nothing huge has happened but it can be frustrating. I find I receive more errors now than I did before they decided to "improve" the system.
