Efficient page reordering
Date: Jan 12 2026SummaryReorganised a long proposal in ZenDocs and appreciated how intuitive the page reordering felt. It saved me from exporting and re-uploading files multiple times.
PositiveDragging pages to reorder them felt responsive, and previews updated immediately. This made restructuring documents less stressful.
NegativeA keyboard shortcut option would speed things up for power users.

Delete pages quickly
Date: Feb 09 2026SummaryCleaned up a 50-page contract by removing outdated appendices and blank pages that were cluttering the document. Selection process was intuitive, and deleting of pages happened instant. Whittled it down to 32 relevant pages in about 3 minutes-much easier for clients to review the document. The only minor issue was nearly deleting the wrong section once; caught it before download, though.
PositiveRemoving unnecessary pages from documents is incredibly easy and quick. Just select the pages for deletion, and they are gone in an instant-no complicated menus and confirmations to slow you down.
NegativeThere is no clear undo functionality if you accidentally delete the wrong page, though downloading without saving may serve as a workaround.

Consistent conversion results
Date: Jan 15 2026SummaryI have used ZenDocs to transform financial tables; it produced usable results in no time. This reduced manual re-entry work for me and fit inside my reporting schedule quite nicely.
PositiveConverting pdfs to Excel kept tables readable and aligned better than expected. Processing time stayed short.
NegativeSome merged cells had to be manually cleaned up afterward, but that's common.

Compress kept quality
Date: Feb 06 2026SummaryArchived an entire year's worth of design mockups that were consuming almost 2GB of cloud storage space. By archiving them, managed to whittle them down to around 400MB without any degradation in quality when viewing a zoomed-in version. This not only allows the clients to view the older versions if necessary, it's also freed up space for new projects.
PositiveCompression greatly reduced the sizes of the files, while their image quality is identical to before. The compression is great for storing old project images without wasting valuable memory space.
NegativeI believe that the batch processing would speed up the archiving of my projects, since presently I’m processing every file individually, which can add up when handling large projects.

Practical everyday use
Date: Jan 14 2026SummaryI use zendocs for everyday document preparation. It is not fancy but does the routine well enough to rely on it.
PositiveThe tools mostly covered daily needs for compressing or converting files without confusion but the layout could use slightly stronger contrast for accessibility.

annotation tools are useful
Date: Feb 09 2026Summaryi have used it for a group project when we needed to review a draft of a research paper. all the members of the group were able to add their feedback and highlights to the PDF. although the resulting file had a slightly rainbow feel to it, it was a much more organized system than relying on emails. we had completed the process in half the usual time.
Positivepdf highlighting and sticky note functionality makes collaborative work easier. it is possible for my team and I to review a document and add our notes on the pdf, rather than writing emails with our feedback.
Negativethe color options for highlights are only available in a few basic choices. would appreciate more choices to help group specific types of comments visually.

Zendocs jpg conversion
Date: Feb 09 2026SummaryExtracted product catalog pages as individual JPG files to use on our e-commerce site. Each image came out crisp and clear at 300 DPI, which looked professional on product pages.
PositiveConverting PDF pages to JPG images is fast and produces high-resolution outputs that work perfectly for social media posts or website graphics. Quality settings give good control over file size versus clarity.
NegativeDownloading converted images one by one is tedious – a zip file option for batch downloads would speed things up considerably.

Great rotation tool
Date: Feb 13 2026SummaryScanned a bunch of receipts for expense reports, and, naturally, half of them were scanned wrong. Fixed 30 pages in maybe 5 minutes, though, and I did have to click on each one individually to rotate them. Much quicker than rescanning them in properly rotated, and it looks perfect enough for business use out of the gate.
PositiveCorrecting orientation for scanned documents is no problem at all. Documents that arrived sideways or upside-down from the scanner are easy to correct with just a few clicks. The effect of the correction is visible immediately on screen.
NegativePossibly more intuitive as bulk rotation for multiple pages: Currently, you have to choose individual pages before you can apply any rotation.

Good for quick edits
Date: Feb 03 2026SummaryThis was used to grade 30 research papers over the weekend. The ability to place comments right on the PDF was a huge improvement over my previous system of writing out notes. Occasionally, the page turning was a bit slow when working with 40-page documents, but it wasn't frustrating.
PositiveThe annotation tools are quite functional, and placing text boxes or highlights is not so complex that I had to look at tutorials.
NegativeTurning pages could be quicker, as there is a slight delay when jumping to a particular page number in long documents.

Useful for startups
Date: Jan 13 2026SummaryI relied on zendocs while preparing investor materials. Being able to convert and clean files in one place made prep faster and less chaotic.
PositiveManaging multiple document types in one place reduced tool switching. Conversions and edits were consistent.
NegativeI’d like team-sharing features in the future for collaboration.

Helpful for student work
Date: Feb 09 2026SummaryCombined three separate essays and a bibliography into one submission file for the final project. This process was quite easy, though the final merged file ended up being 8MB, close to the size limit in the submission portal. Had to go back and compress it after the merge. Would have been nice if the compression was included in the merge process.
PositiveAssisted in combining different assignment PDFs into one document to be presented, which it seems many professors prefer to receiving different email attachments with each component of an assignment.
NegativeThe file size may increase substantially when dealing with the merger of numerous documents, with no compression provided to facilitate easier management.

Decent rotate and reorder
Date: Feb 06 2026SummaryCorrected the batch of scanned lecture notes, which had half or so of its pages upside down or sideways. The drag-and-drop feature to arrange the pages worked flawlessly, even if I needed to zoom in on some of the smaller thumbnails to ensure I was rotating the right pages. This took about 15 minutes for 80 pages, which isn’t bad considering how disorganized the originals were.
PositiveTurning sideways-scanned pages that come in sideways is no problem, and re-arranging them via drag and drop makes life relatively painless.
NegativeThe size of the preview thumbnails is just a little too small on the screen of a laptop computer, which makes it a little more difficult to easily tell which pages need rotating just by glancing at the screen.

Works for basic tasks
Date: Jan 22 2026SummaryI use ZenDocs for merging expense reports and compressing files when emailing them out. It serves my purposes quite well and has a clean interface. Although not the most robust tool available in the market, for practical purposes, this tool has not caused me any grief.
PositiveCombined three PDFs into a single document without problems. File compression utility shrunk the file size sufficiently for email transmission. User interface is simple and doesn't need a learning curve.
NegativeThe feature set, while not extensive compared with subscription services, doesn’t offer high-level edit functionality such as redaction or batch processing multiple files at once.

decent for quick tasks
Date: Feb 09 2026Summarybounced from different computers at different clients this week, and being able to use zendocs from any browser was nice. also merged some proposals, split some reports, and signed some documents without requiring anything to be installed on clients' machines. did experience some issues uploading to slow wifi at a client's office, but that's probably more on them than on us.
Positivehandles basic pdf operations without requiring software installation. browser-based approach means that i can work from any computer without worrying about downloading programs and avoiding IT restrictions.
Negativeupload speed also varies greatly depending on the internet connection, which might sometimes be disappointing when dealing with large items in areas with slow wifi.

Useful for daily tasks
Date: Feb 24 2026SummaryConverting safety manual pages into individual images for the training portal is a weekly task. This tool does it every time without requiring any desktop software.
PositiveThe convert PDF to PNG function created clean images that were very useful in presentation slides. The file naming was organized, and the download was in a single zip.
NegativeThe processing time for files with more than 30 pages took a little longer than smaller files.

Annotation tools work great
Date: Feb 24 2026SummaryThe process of reviewing a product spec document with the engineering team was very smooth. All comments were visible, and the exported version captured all the annotations perfectly.
PositiveMarking important parts of the PDF and adding comments was very intuitive from the beginning. The sticky note feature allowed comments to be organized and easily found.
NegativeOne thing I wish was possible is to mention or tag collaborators within the annotations.

Rotate and reorder fast
Date: Feb 24 2026SummaryA colleague scanned a contract package upside down and out of order. Five minutes of reorganizing the pages and it was all set and ready to go.
PositiveReorganizing and rotating the pages of a scanned document was a drag-and-drop operation. Viewing the thumbnails took little time, even for a 40-page document with heavy graphics.
NegativeThe thumbnails could be a little sharper on pages with small text.

Good annotation tools
Date: Jan 12 2026SummaryI reviewed design proofs in ZenDocs and added comments directly to the file. It kept feedback clear and avoided long email threads.
PositiveAnnotate pdf features covered highlights, comments, and simple marks without cluttering the document. Tools responded quickly.
NegativeMore pen style options could help when marking up design drafts.

Clean convert every time
Date: Feb 19 2026SummaryThe marketing team required individual slides as images for their social media posts. Every export was clear and labeled properly, which was a huge time-saver.
PositivePDF to JPG conversion resulted in clear and high-resolution images from a 20-page presentation file. Each page was exported as a separate file, which was exactly what was required.
NegativeA feature that allows mass renaming of exported images would be helpful.

Fast pdf creation
Date: Jan 12 2026SummaryI created a pdf from multiple files using ZenDocs and liked how streamlined it felt. Everything combined cleanly, and I didn’t have to redo steps.
PositiveCreating pdf files from mixed sources was quick, and the final output looked consistent. The process didn’t require extra setup.
NegativeI’d like a preview before final creation, just to double-check ordering.
