Being of old school technology and BIG believer of hands on productivity, I thought how can Zoom be effective. After my first Zoom meeting experience I was sold 100% plus that Zoom is a much needed tool, even more so during this challenging time we are experiencing worldwide. Our first Zoom business meeting was effective, productive, professional, time saving and so very simple to use. GREAT OUTCOMES.

Our company is able to conduct professional business meetings via zoom, now that most are working from home. We are able to see one another clearly and facilitate with accuracy. Also, I love the simplicity of Zoom.

Being of old school and 30 years of hosting business meeting in person, I was not too keen on Zoom, but after my first Zoom meeting I realized.

It is a good product, with good support. I would recommend the breakout rooms when feasible. It really works well.

It facilitates remote work. It is reliable, and provides a series of tools that allows virtual meetings to be interactive.

It allows for an excessive hours of video conference.

Overall it is a very useful program to have and I will continue to recommend it to others. I would suggest making it more user friendly.

Great for holding meetings with a lot of people. The mute feature is very useful to cut down on background sound and distractions from those attending the meeting.

Hard to navigate and use efficiently if you aren't familiar with it or have time to play around with it before hand.

Overall multiple people can connect at a same time and interact. Video streaming is good as compared to other applications. Meeting invite is very professional and can be sync with the MS calendar. Collaboration and meeting control features with auto mute is quite good.

In the present scenario, for office meeting, customer interaction, video conference is required. Its security feature by providing meeting codes helps the clients to join in a group. No buffering of video irrespective of network speed. Sound quality is also good.

Group files sharing, meeting notes, calendar invite also required for best user experience. all the log should be created for tracking the monthly meeting output.

It is very highly features tool which make our service life easy. The user interface so simple and easy understanding. This software become very beneficial to every age groups for me I'm using to as meeting and for my kids they are using as distant learning. Remote control screen feature is very handy. I had great overall experience with Zoom.

There is not much cons still I can say the mobile version of Zoom is not very good.

One of the best video conferencing applications currently available in the market. Screen sharing, Chat function, Camera and audio control, Virtual backgrounds, etc are some of the features provide by Zoom.

The only thing that Zoom lacks is a bit of support they provide. But I think we can cut some slack for zoom since they provide so many functionalities and ease of use.

Overall, for classes, I'd recommend it over Collaborate. Compared to Microsoft Teams, I would say the preference comes down to two factors: what devices will the majority of the students be using to connect to the meetings with and how good is the internet in the area your students are in. If your students are in rural areas with weak Wi-Fi and low computer ownership, I'd suggest Zoom over Teams. If you're in an area were computer ownership is more common and internet is better, I'd say Teams wins. Functionality wise for classes, Teams also offers more than Zoom, as it goes well beyond just being good for meetings. So, even for rural areas, I'd recommend Teams or Slack alongside Zoom to store powerpoints, class notes, and other educational material. I'd recommend it, and I'd suggest having staff who will be using it play around with it for a day or two doing practice meetings before using it for a real class session to get the hang of it. There is a bit of a learning curve.

You can easily set up a meeting for business or a class. Screen sharing is easy, and works well on PC and phones. This was a big deal for our group of students, as many were from rural areas who didn't have computers at home and could only access the internet through their phone's data plan. We experienced no disconnections through Zoom during any of our meetings, which was not the case for Microsoft Teams and Collaborate, the latter of which I would describe as light-years below the functionality of Zoom. Free meetings are long enough to get the job done if you're on a budget, and I'd say, if you think you need this, the pay option will likely be worth it for you.

Interface took a while to get used to. This was the main issue experienced. It didn't take long to sort it out. It's a matter of just playing around with it to get a feel for how it works. Not a huge negative, but when Teams is connected, I think it works better, but this will vary heavily depending on device and internet coverage. It's great for meetings, but other meeting software out there offers more features than Zoom does.

Zoom is the best video meeting software out there. Extremely reliable and user friendly. Love the integrations it has with Gsuite and MixMax. There is a cost to having meetings over 45 minutes but meetings should be shorter than that anyway :)

Zoom has been instrumental in setting up vendor calls outside our organization and allowing us to continue to maintain social distancing protocols while projects move along safely within our department. The ease of setup and implementation of a meeting has been very user friendly.

Overall, I think Zoom is a great platform to stay connected for work, family time, friends and gaming. I would recommend this tool for anyone doing several web meetings a month.

I love this for work and personal use. It has helped me feel connected with friends, family, co-workers and I love the user friendliness and ability to connect with large groups as well as one on one video chats. I also like the chat bar option.

I wish there were more pricing options for someone who wants longer than 40 minute meetings but isn't a frequent host.

Zoom is basically a complete meeting solution to create a cloud meeting spot in which the remote employees can easily attend. Its mobile version is average.
Overall, we had a positive experience with the Zoom meeting software.

The User interface is superb, even on the first use I didn't face any difficulty. Now end to end encryption also available in Freemium accounts.
The video quality is above average. Easy meeting joining procedure. Guest sign up is a great additional option.

Zoom Meetings is super easy to use and has a lot of great features. You can call in from a phone/tablet or a computer, making it easy to use on the go. Screen sharing, recording and the ability to mute attendees are great features as well.

User friendly, great chat feature, clear audio (and video if applicable) quality, muting people, ability to record the call, screen sharing.

Chat is great, however, if you're private messaging someone, it shows up in the same chat window as all other chats. Should open a new window/frame, as it gets confusing who you're talking to.

Overall Zoom helped me grow my business in ways I couldn't have imagined before. It is a fantastic video software.

There are not many cons, other than the number of competitors Zoom has.

Zoom has become part of everyday life with all that is going on in the world. More people need a way to get in touch with groups and feel part of a team when we are all so physically divided. Being device agnostic makes them perfectly poised to fill the need!

Easy to set up a meeting and even easier to join one. Requires very little experience, I know people with almost no computer knowledge who can still figure out how to join a meeting.

Have to pay for the premium features but they don't limit you that much.

Nice and friendly UI and Design pricing is not at all ease of access easy to use, features are great.

It gives the platform where an institute can gather at a single time for conferencing with greater ease of access.

Sometime it glitches, sometime it hangs, support is not very satisfactory.

I have no issues with this app but i think the securities as well as privacy can be improved. for non-registered users the time limit for single meet is 45 minutes which pose a problem for office meeting and online classes.

It's positive, did not run into issues that would reduce the usability of the software. The mxn table view is best. I'm a fan of this product, many are.

Many people including the govt raised and put out a statement about privacy issues with the software.
Our professors have stopped using it since then.

I have used this application for a long time and now I have switched to another.
It got so much spam and it's not secure now ID login and easy to join other people classes without password direct by link.

Zoom has quickly become somewhat of an industry standard. It's easy to use, has many features, and is pretty affordable. However, some UI tweaks could make it much better.

The video quality is acceptable, and I rarely experience dropouts or freezes. There are also plenty of features available such as screensharing to make presentations more effective.

The process of joining meetings is quite clunky. There's more downloading and clicking than should be necessary. The power of modern web browsers should be leveraged. A good example of this would be Google Meet.

Also signing out is more difficult than it should be. If I close the app, simply sign me out. Make those a single step and I'd be happy.
